Colin, I get you don't rate Williams, but for the life of me I don't understand why you still link any potential transfer a bad idea because he comes from Swansea.
Also I am curious about what you thought of Borini on Saturday? Like it or not, but I think the odds are he'll be with us next term, and I still maintain that due to an injury plagued season we've not seen what he can actually do, but was it just a lucky goal on Saturday?
Dave...doesnt matter to me who Williams plays for now ...nothing to do with Swansea ...hes just rubbish and we defo dont neeed him. Borini pleased to see him get on the score sheet when he came on but seriously just about everybody looked like they were going to score against that slack back line..thought it was just a lucky toe poke goal.

Actually I was quite impressed with Borini's goal. I grant you that Newcastle were having a bad day, however I saw some intelligent running from the Italian. He moved himself into the 6 yard box taking his marker with him, then just dropped back 2 or 3 steps to get himself open for Downing's cut back. Also on first glance it did look like just a stab with the toe, but on the replay it looks like he actually poked it with the outside of the foot to push the ball wide left of the Newcastle keeper, so not sure if it was just luck, or by design. But most of all I thought the looks on his teammates told the real story. They looked made up for the young Italian who whether you like him or not, you have to concede has had a rough season when it comes to injury.
