    Record Broken.. Well done Redmen

Our Reds went to Fulham on 35 away goals, needing 2 more to surpass their all time PL record which was 36 in 08/09. The 3 scored today by Danny Surridge makes it LFC's highest away goal tally since 1989/1990 when they scored 40.. Last season they scored 23 goals in their away matches..

Well done across the board, top to bottom.. players, fans and manager.

    • Yes it could have been even more! No doubt there will be some who think that Sturridge is a donkey, the goals away record isnt proof of progress and blah blah.

The sooner this season is over the better, I am looking forward to next season without a doubt! Lets hope the owners open their purse wide in the close season.

      • Daniel Sturridge has score 11 goals in 15 prem matches.. Not even OJ Simpson's lawyer could convince a sane person he hasn't been worth every penny spent.. If only for a couple of lesser showings, while keeping in mind he's not played much in nearly a year and is only 23, he could have 15 in 15, or more..

Some people don't like stats, and I agree they can always be swung in one direction or another, but that's not really a stat, it's a fact, and if you compare is prolificacy vs others who've been bought for more, it's startling how good he's started off mark at LFC and even better w/o Suarez!!
