Leeds United Message Board
oh, please, dont be bitter because the french show you how to play football. Thats realism. When you "won" by cheating big time with your professional moaner and diver of Rooney and your big time cheater gruggies of ferdinand?so stop moaning you twat
Why are their so many united fans posting on our message board? Feel like you have something to prove do you? All gooners fans know that with the extra revenue generated by the sales of Pires and Vieira that seem imminent, we're gonna get some almighty players for peanuts probably. When was the last time ferguson bought a decent player for less than £12m? In fact the only decent player he's bought recently is Rooney. You can't count Ronaldo coz he only performs in 3 games a season! United fans, don't worry about us. We know where we lost the title last year. In no game were we beaten by a side because they were better. Shore up at the back (which we already have only letting in 3 goals in 14 games at the end of the season), and we only need worry about Chelsea getting more jammy 1-0 wins every week!!
i think mr wenger should buy one more forward and a midfielder.
the burden for henry is too heavy ...
and arsenal always depends on him...
the forward who i think is suitable for arsenal is michale owen...
he can bring good result and commercial pottential for arsenal.
and the most important thing is owen is a british.
my favourite midfielder is wright
he's young and good...
i thinks it's unnessarry to buy beckham...
he's unuseful in arsenal strategic.
nobody can head well in arsenal...sounds dissapointed...
maybe can buy a forward who can head well
What Arsenal need is to improve their youth academy and start producing home grown talent instead of buying these young foreign chickens whom a year later get home sick or injured then get sent to scotland. Can anyone put a figure on arsenal budget available this year?Money talks not fantasy.Get real guys
FREDDY ADU... 16 yr old american kid .. plays in the MLS .. very good

Dear Soccer fans,
As you all know, i've been looking to buy the United's of Manchester for
a little while now. I've also heard that some of you may not be
too happy about me using, sorry, buying the club in order to reach new heights and
also, that I may not be a fan.
Well fear not, as i'm writing this personal letter to let you know that
i'm a genuine fan of you blue devils.
I began rooting for the United's back in 1992 when our little Malcolm JR
was practising those Soccer home runs out in the yard. I loved the way
you turned defence into offence, and the way that Bobby Shearer used to
top half it into the goal bag. Oh man, that play was hot. My son
tells me that you even out-zoned your City rivals Southampton in the 4th quarter
of the FA World series.
As for your current team, that Rude guy is awesome!!!! I see a
profitable future at the United, with the young talent of Cristiano Rooney (man,
that guy can dance!) and Peter Shilton giving us hope in defeating the
evil Russian tyranny which assaults the freedom of our beloved Soccer.
With the marketing potential of those Neville brothers and that Pearce
dude leading the team, we can all look to acheiving our beliefs of a
better future. Especially when I add Alexei Lalas and Cobi Jones to the
Now to you, the fans.
I've been to see the United's play once before, and the respect you pay
your team in silently admiring the play out on the pitch was
overwhelming. Because of this, i've just purchased a new £45
mansion in the Manchester to be close to you guys. And more good news is
i'm planning to add an extra 10,000 seats through corporate boxes
so more genuine blue devils can experience the play.
What's with the prawn sandwiches I had to eat when I was there?
Well, rest assured, it'll be super size prawn baguettes when I take charge.
I can't wait to come over to the Manchester isles, as I love the
country, especially the beaches and the hot chicks.
I hope you can all see my vision of this future, with new shirt sponsors
(Dunkin Donuts) and new team name (The Manchester Gloom) i'm sure things
are looking bright.
*Further good news for you guys is that i've just agreed a partnership
deal with McDonalds, who will help in promoting the Manchester brand.
This will involve re-naming the stadium to 'McTrafford' as well as
an exciting launch of Manchester Gloom plastic fan toys in every
happy meal. Cristiano Rooney will be the face of this campaign and during this, he
will be marketed globally as Roonald McDonald.
Take care dudes.
its shocking vieira's gone both we can still achieve the goals we want if we sign baptista for added power up front, jenas, maniche or ballack central midfield, another left sided player, a right back so lauren has competition, and a new keeper. this should be players that can make an impact on all competitions what do you think.
Lauren at centre back? I'd have:
Mind you, the team which wins the community shield never wins the league....
Cheers mate! i think i talk sense too lol.
Cygan is a muppet who is taking up valuable wages that could go to someone with abit of class, as where cygans class is up his arse as its sh-it!!
Alot of people are saying we need 4 or 5 new players which is not true we need someone who can score goals (Baptista) & someone who can stop goals (dunno suggestions on a postcard to Arsene Wenger, PO Box Jens aint good enough, Highbury) Alot of people are forgetting all the class we have in midfield, Freddi, Gilberto, Pires, Hleb (new), Van Persie, Flamini, Reyes, Berkamp, Fabregas & there are even more, ok would be nice to have some one big & strong but Baptista could drop to midfield. This is a young but highly skilled and improving group of players.
To sum up we need a goal scorer!!!!!! mayb 1 defender if we have to and defo a keeper.
How is a penalty & a corner open play???? hmmmmmmmmm there set pieces!
It was a good game, but Chelsea will be out played as people come wise to the long ball tactics & the offside flag will be seen more than chelsea goals! Chelsea have fantastic players but seem scared to pass the ball. Im not sore and i dont think any Arsenal fan is because we played very well with some players only on there second pre-season match and to see an 18 & 21 year old in centre midfield stopping Chelsea & there £20 million a player side shows real class and hope for the future.
So we went down 2-1 to chelsea. Loads of teams have lost the charity shield and have gone on to have a stunning season. We have a class team and there is nothing to worry about for us. It is chelsea who should start fretting.
Their super team could only beat us by one goal when everyone is saying that they will take the title with ease. NO, chelsea are more than beatable and it will be proved at the end of the season when arsenal lift the title.
That poor envious northener must have been envious and hurt watching 2 teams from southern england(LONDON) playing for charity sheild trophy, and instead of admiring the quality on the pitch he was looking at empty seats, how sad.
the sooner you come to terms that the power of english football has shifted south the better for you as it is going to remain at least for the next decade.last years home throphies were all won by southern teams.so i advise all yahoo guys to ignore this issue about empty seats now.
No, the 'factor' is the fact that you Northern monkeys use any excuse to get away from the grim weather, cobbled streets and the inbred, hairy lipped women.
