Apparently, his release clause expired last season according to Schalke's GM.
My main concern with Klose is he's too slow and I think that would be an hindrance for him against Premier League defenders, I'd prefer to see more of the inexperienced youngster Sanogo than Klose in our side, additionally Bendtner is also available who knows the league inside out.
Team for the weekend, what do you think?
Forwards L. Suárez £19.70M
Forwards W. Rooney £17.22M

Midfield D. Silva £12.70M
Midfield C. Eriksen £13.17M
Defenders M. Debuchy £5.60M
Defenders R. Bertrand £1.00M
Defenders J. Vertonghen £11.49M

4S. Harper £1.60M
I think Utd will play a 4-2-3-1 jinson, with RVP (or Welbeck) up top, Roo deeper centrally, Mata on one flank, with a (big) choice of the other wide player, depending which side Mata plays. Welbeck can also operate LM, so he's versatile as cover for RVP and cover for LM.
"The only way to find which of the teams has 'the best squad on paper' is by looking at actual results"
Manchester City then.

Don't know if should swap B.Guzan with H. Lloris??
That is such a difficult question. maybe we should keep it simple and just look at results. Oh, #$%$, wait, I guess we already do look at results. Maybe we skip this question it is just soooo difficult to wrap once little head around.
We probably watched a different game. In the game I watched we were late to every ball, we were out hustled, out worked, out tackled, stood around, walked around and did not seem prepared to fight for our lives or our honour. That is more than an off day that, in my book, is not being mentally prepared.
We lacked leadership both from the manager and from the leaders on the pitch who ever they are supposed to be.
Can I have a hug?
Now, here's a little song I came up with about the Orungutan fiddler, so feel free to sing along now.
To the tune of Johnny Cash's "I've Been Everywhere"
I have been nowhere, man.
I have been nowhere, man.
Using my stairlift, man.
I'm an agoraphobic man, man.
Of travel I've had no share, man.
I have been nowhere.
Oh....I believe it was far far more AMUSING!!!
Team up the 'Moyes dance' with the 'Rooney slide and fist pump' and MY SIDES ARE LITERALLY SPLITTING!!!!!
I bet your face was a picture!!!
PS. You seen your mate PIGGY? He seems to have done a runner.....AGAIN!!!
If United play Arsenal with the team that finished against Fulham, and not the one that started, we'll beat you. Fulham played with a ten man defence, Arsenal won't.
I agree, the lads HAVE to deliver on these occasions. It really isn't good enough. I honestly believe our failing to do so thus far is more a lack of confidence (and at times a lack of application) than a lack of tactics. I don't think Saturday loss was down to wonderful tactical play by Lpool. I think Arsenal could send out the same players against Pool on Saturday and would certainly be able to win the game convincingly. The squad is suffering and Ramsey and Flamini missing is being felt.
I think Arsenal failed to use their heads when the early goals went in and instead of becoming more defensive and tight, they opened up and tried to play but were well off the pace of Lpool (who were excellent). I don't think that was down to the manager. I think that was down to the fielded players not using their bonces collectively.
I was surprised to see Gibbs left out of the starting line up.
...wrong decision but I'm actually relieved. You see I foolishly sold Silva, losing a tiny 1m discount... but big enough not to be able to buy him back without hassle, phew.
