I didn't see the United game, I was away, didn't see the Arsenal game either, I just thought it was funny when Matchcast wrote, "Welbeck does a Welbeck.".
Welbeck had a good game IMO and did not miss any sitters. He hit the post early on with a chip shot an RVP in his prime might have made or a world class triker might have made. But relative to what we have (Giroud and Sanogo) he was an improvement IMO. But one game doesn't mean much.
Man U looked great but played against a weak QPR. Blind IMO was very impressive in his DM role and and could be the glue that holds Man U together. Having said that, as for Welbeck, one good game by Blind is too early draw conclusions but he was light years better than Flamini or Arteta were for us in the same role. He was quicker, reads the game better, has better technique and is calmer on the ball. I did not expect that and thought he might be roughed up a little in the PL. In fact I am pretty #$%$ of Arsenal didn't sign him or an other quality DM like him. Man U scared me but I hope it was because QPR made you look good.
RVP seems of the boil or over the hill.
We have quite a few promising youngsters coming through the Leeds Academy but manager McDermott has become reluctant to using them... As ever, us Leeds fans are mystified about what goes on behind the scenes at Elland Road - and at the FL! How much is a ST for Pools!
BUMPED....oh dear, there's still no back up for Altree after that grovelling for help on the football articles and posting links to here, but still nobody came to help out the old fruit!
Butch only has wee Jimmy Krankie for back up on here - LMFAO!!!
What did I tell you??
HE gets shafted, and then claims I did!
PS: Would you like that in Latin??
Final (I think) adjustments made.....
It was tough but after reading rotoworlds update and taking your advice i have a decent squad. i can probably choose a better Captain... crouch will either get me 2 pts or 8+
Bolasie, Paulinho, Holtby, Willian
Olsson, Ward, Dann, Riether
bench- Suarez, Gerrard, Sturridge, Bertrand, Gazzaniga
I've got to admit boys, this summer's transfer window is a bit of a worry - simply because we seem to be the best scouts for the other clubs, and the number of players we've lost to other clubs in the last couple of years.
When we're selling the club to these players, we need a great big screen showing the number of minutes Salah and Willian have played for Chelsea. Maybe that will help! I guess being in the CL might also make a difference.
Just 72, but only 7 players on the pitch as I was unwilling to rip apart my side in pursuit of a weeks worth of points....

how to check latest team news for earliest game before deadline? (eg. Manchester United vs West Brom)by zzz Mar 8, 2014 21:10
I thought we can see the confirmed line up for earliest teams before the YFF transfer deadline.
Ooer-zil had a great game. In fact, damn near all our players did well against a well organised Everton team. Leaving aside his one slip-up, even Vermaelen looked good and full of commitment.
If I were going to criticise anything, it is that we were rubbish at attacking corners. We seem to get loads of them, but never do anything worthwhile and very rarely score from them. The BFG did well in defence, but I would expect a bit more in set pieces from him.
My throat is very sore from shouting. The Everton fans were worse than the Liverpool fans. Throwing water bottles and coins etc. Great day though.
"Don't say that! Remember Birmingham City?"
Spot-on. No one saw that Brummie calamity coming given the fact that we beat them 6-0 in the 2 league fixtures prior to the cup final..
The back-to-back spanking lowly Wigan handed to multi-talented, big spenders City now proved conclusively that Arsenal aren't the only side susceptible to bottling it when it mattered. The way Wigan dismantled City at the Etihad is highly commendable and richly deserved their victory in a tough away tie. I hope we've learned painfully lessons from the previous damaging cup defeats, and we won't take Wigan lightly on the day as they are a very dangerous side in top form currently despite their league placing.

Look up the meaning of hijack, it doesn't mean taking hostages and demanding ransoms.
"If you want the answers to any more obvious questions....................don't bother me, just go ask a 6 year old!"
You're right there, I'd certainly get more intelligent answers than you come up with .... can you recommend anyone?
Oh dear, LMFAO - Altree has been spouting more shyte!
Why do you keep telling so many lies Butch?
What do you get out of it?
It's all there though in Altree's post history on a Yahoo article titled 'Ravel Morrison joins QPR on loan from West Ham' - with 'it's' bottom crawling, grovelling message, posting the URL for this message board. to 'it's' so-called friend Kel.
And here's the message Altree posted;
Hey, Kel, where you been? The United and Arsenal boards are still going, the URLs have changed though. They won't let you post links here, but if you take the first part of the URL above, to the first forward slash, then add this ...... /mb/?bn=UKS-FO-manchester-united .... you'll get to the United board, just change the team's name at the end to get the other boards.
