You really are a thicko Sweet. STILL not reading the posts correctly. You seemed to infer I was in email contact with Patrick, I was NOT. Yes we discussed various items on the message board, mutual abuse?? #$%$ old girl. I DON'T have access to posts and emails YEARS old which for some sad reason you do. Still, if it causes a stir in your giant Bridget Jones's, then so be it. Yes I did err, it was 3 years , not 5. A teeny teeny insignificant point years old, about a long gone poster who nobody on hear has ever heard of.
I don't read the old testament, I think it's lost in translation, Jonah was sent to Wales as punishment. Thanks for so MANY replies to my one post. Your obsession must be a cause for concern as regards your mental health. Do you and Bozo from down under have nothing better to do than make dozens of posts, attacking myself and Kipper?

You know nothing fraudster. Championing the cause for Atheism, whilst claiming to be a professor of theology. You googled Biblical contradictions. Never heard of lost in translation? Greek to Hebrew to English. Bit like Chinese whispers. I accept you have your beliefs, why do you and your puppet master keep trying to shove them down my throat? I DON'T push mine on you pair. I can only assume you are actually a bit scared I might just be correct.
You can fool some people some of the time,
but you can't FULHAM all of the time

From the depths of the crypts of St. Giles,
came a scream that was heard for miles

has Rikky the choir boy got piles?

How many of your 68 posts have NOT been attacking me and/or Sweet?

NONE, from the very FIRST sentence you posted.

    Giroud?

by Ref, It Was Me! Feb 11, 2014 12:12

A few weeks ago I saw a stat which showed Giroud as one of the more inaccurate strikers in terms of %shots on target and conversion. This is not a big surprise because it "feels" like he needs a lot of chances to score. He is pretty good with his had and great at involving others and creating assists but poor in scoring goals and seems to need a lot of time to control the ball and get a shot of on goal.

    by Shan Feb 10, 2014 16:10

I wouldn't even say he's right. If Rooney is a striker, then so is Mata and/or Hazard. All of them play the bulk of the game between the midfield and the front line. Who cares anyway, as long as it is the same for everyone..... if some people were able to choose Mata as a forward and others as a midfielder, there'd be an issue. As it stands there frankly isn't.

Agree, if you look at some of the "wingers" like Theo, they have little intention of gripping the line, it's all cutting into the box, so they really become strikers in much the same way as Suarez drops wide and cuts back in. The greatest "midfield"-striker of last season Michu? So much fluidity with these guys. You could even call Gerrard a flippin' defender now lol... but he's still the best "midfielder" in this game. And some of the wing-backs are not just effective midfielders, but become strikers at times.

    I didn't and it shouldn't matter.

  • We knew we wouldn't make the CL spot a long time ago, slayer, whilst you were crowing about how far ahead you were of everyone else, now you're not!

    Remember what you said ....

"The only way to find which of the teams has 'the best squad on paper' is by looking at actual results, and as things stand, nobody in the country would doubt that Arsenal have 'the best squad on paper'"

So who has the best squad now?

    .
Anyway, back to the subject in hand, Arsenal's inability to beat United, even when we're at our worst .... any sensible comment, slayer?

  • Substitute didnt work this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ................ to win the league and. FA Cup double. Our last two games would have been very damaging but Chelsea dropping silly points in their home game against West Ham and away at WBA let us off the hook big time. City's draw vs relegation threatened Norwich also came at the right time for us, I think if both title challengers had taken full points out of their games, it would have been very difficult to catch them this season.

I hope Wenger forget the CL dream this season and focus solely on the league and FA Cup competitions. Sunday's 5th round tie against Liverpool is now massive for use as either Chelsea or City won't make the next round meaning either of the two sides will be the only strong side standing in our way if we go past Liverpool, Wenger should make sure that the players know this and field the strongest side available on Sunday. What we can't afford to do is get distracted by CL where our chances of going through to the last 8 is very very low. This is where a top manager earns his corn by making the most out of his squad, Arsenal simply don't have the squad to mount challenges on three fronts and this unfortunately means forgoing CL dream for another season and concentrating on viable targets - the league and FA Cup. We have shown that we can play for boring draws and as long as we avoid getting beat by City and Chelsea in the games against them, we will be fine as a point off the top isn't much. Both City and Chelsea still have to play Liverpool away from home, City also have Man U away. Okay I know Man U have a slim chance of getting anything out of the City game but you never know with derbys, anything can happen. Our other remaining fixtures in the league are winnable games as long as we avoid defeats against our close rivals.

I'm fine with not getting points for players in the postponed matches, currently though I'm not getting points for my subs that did play added to my weeks total - hope they can adjust that.

    Well that was nervy

    by Colyn Feb 13, 2014 10:26

I don't really mean I don't care in such a malaise or in that context, because I know I'll be watching and wanting to win at all costs, and can almost foresee one of those disappointing 2-0 drab losses at the Emirates, like our league game there, and I think Rodgers will definitely rotate some with the finish line in a sprinters distance. But I'd want the win!

A win would surprise me, and I'd take it, but not at the expense of any issues or god forbid a bad result vs Swans at home. Mind you after that, we go to Southampton, our team/hourse of horrors, and sadly, I expect nothing there. Just being honest, maybe 1 pt.

I suppose the good thing about this Arsenal game is, we can bring in some quality players who are on the mend, or on the periphery to match what Arsenal may do, with Bayern Munich looming.

Just a guess, Kelly & Glenda runouts at RB, Agger, Allen, Aspas, Moses, Ibe, then perhaps Jordan, Suarez and maybe Skrtel as the leaders and top quality.

Btw, Joao Texiera is the lad. We bought him from Sporting last season after he tore us up in the Nexgen tournament, and he's compared to Deco.. He showed some class in his 10 minutes.. doesn't say much for Aspas or Moses, whereas I think Alberto just needs to bulk up and adapt.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz yawn, Yet more lies and rants. Accept defeat woman, you talk one load of #$%$. I stand by my comment about Janet, and 2 of your "contacts" have made comments to me about you and Bozo. They put a front with you, they tolerate you, but they don't like you.I feel pity for you. Now well past your prime, you are just a dried up bitter old hag, who THINKS she knows people she has NEVER met. Find another outlet to release your frustrations and pent up anger. You've even adopted Bozo's style of quoting most of other peoples posts in your own. A sure sign to compensate for your lack of vocabulary. I referred to Bridget Jones knickers in jocular fashion. Your mindset along with Bozo's, sees EVERYTHING from a perverse angle. That says far more about your attitudes than it ever does about mine.
