    Stoke it up...

    by Jack S Mar 1, 2014 09:38

Stoke could make the difference between Arsenal winning the league or not, the last time United played them we had three players injured, two of them are still out.

Picking up three (or two) long term injuries would be killing for us.

    Wilshire player rating v. Stoke

    by Govinda Mar 2, 2014 08:14

#$%$ slayer. Along with your under rated 'rating'. Once again I pose the question, what the hell do both of you know about professional footballers. How could you possibly know what goes on in their life, in their head for that matter. Its them who can put in a shift, in front of 'millions' leaving themselves open to all kinds( including you two, who probably haven't kicked a bl..dy football in your life) that I respect. Do you suppose its easy trotting out there in front of people and fans who have only hope that you help the team win. And then when you don't, do you suppose they trot off happy?? FFS! We have done well so far this season, and if we end up with nothing again, then so be it. We try again until we get something.. That's what supporters do each time they turn up at the turnstiles .and pay to watch their team, and 'hopefully' win.

    I've sold Suarez

    by lionel Mar 1, 2014 16:21

Only had him at approx. 28/30, so I should be able to buy him back when required.

Fir enough, but if you paid that amount for him, selling him isn't the drastic headline you kind of suggested!!!!

    Useful Signing

    by Alan H Feb 28, 2014 12:48

Hi Al. It's good to see you're still there. Conor Wickham is a great (loan) signing for Leeds - I'm surprised the Black Cats let him go. Maybe we have Gus Poyet to thank. Two quality additions in as many weeks and we're looking for a third... It's like wise men (or is it wise guys!): you wait all year and at Christmas three come at once! Cellino's influence feels a bit like Christmas at Leeds; although it would have been better if he could have bought the club in December when we had a chance of promotion....
What's the prospect for Pools? I saw the result on Saturday

Week 29, a ton will be like 200!

    by Netley Lucas Mar 2, 2014 22:17

I´d think Hazard will be, although hes got that hefty price tag. And in the big games you can almost bet on Willian starting because of his tracking back.. Matic is a rock and Ivanovic is one of the sure fire starters... Hopefully I´m covered :)

  • There must be something in the water over here. There is no other reason I would continue to exchange with messages that have so very little content other than anger. Peace be with you brother.

It is your day today so I will throw you a bone:

irk: to make weary, irritated, or bored

So if you ask me why I would say that it irks (for you read: irritates) me Giroud and Wilshire go down so easily, it is not difficult to understand if you had the will to understand or the intention. In your case your intention is to look for things you can pretend to take exception with. But for your benefit the reason is because they go down too easily IMO.

I am sure I am blinded by biased with respect to Arsenal but I try to be objective, even if it is from time to time, and to me Giroud and Wilshire are like babies on the pitch. Talking about not knowing football. How do you explain going down as often as they do, crying for a whistle by the ref, but not getting it? They clearly have trouble figuring out the limits of each game. There is little purpose in falling down and not getting a whistle, taking for ever to get up, and leaving your teammates to recover the ball because you exited the game for a while.

But football is a very difficult game, maybe that is why Einstein did not write too much about it.

Are there two of you yet? Are you aware when you have split in two?

I see your point, but I shall take the risk anyway and see what happens... Should be an interesting game anyway :) I´ll probably alter my line-up somewhat before Saturday so let´s see what happens!

  • WILL YOU EVER UPDATE THE LAST ROUND?!!?!

Is it cuz I is Black?

    by Roy Mar 3, 2014 14:41

IS IT CUZ I IS SCOTTISH?...

Well I would say no, as Jim is sane!

And why oh why are you asking where I got my information from...................Last night you said you know Drummer gave it to me...................If you know, as you purport to know everything, then why ask? Just have some faith in your assumption, right or wrong and be done.

And Jim................Ignore the fact that our Janice does not answer any difficult Q's, such as how she can be up in arms over an e-mail and magnify it as abuse and stalking, yet revels in the fact her mate and only mate sends porn, posts personal details, disgusting accusations etc etc and she finds it fine, (is she that desperate for a friend?...apparently so)!...................You must answer her Q about how I/We busted her as a serial deleter and blew her accusations clear out of the water.

Personally I wonder if this is a smoke screen to hide the fact she's been caught with her pants down and her hand in the cookie jar! To be honest (something she should try), it matters not were it came from but the fact it came from somewhere..............AND IT'S TRUE.

Oh Janice Janice Janice...............what are we going to do with you!

    Our Last 38 Matches

    by Jason Mar 5, 2014 15:00

    Hi Jason

I wasn't so much a naysayer but definately could be described as dubious - boy am I happy to be proved wrong :-).

Very interesting post and shows that we are in the top four based on a longer term trend than just the last few months. It is also interesting how good the other 3 clubs currently in the top 4 have been.

    Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes... let's take some risks!

    by Netley Lucas Mar 6, 2014 18:12

I see that you have willian. I have Oscar at the moment but considering paying a bit more to get Willian as I think Mourinho will want him for his work rate. Do you reckon Oscar could get dropped as he's doesn't do too much tracking back and his form isn't great?

  • Quite happy to have 8-9 players this week. I'm expecting big jumps in the price of the upcoming DGW players even a fortnight before they have it. Dropping big players for lesser ones might pay off, but you might end up losing big value all for a few #$%$ points from a dull weekend of football. Hope to God I'm right!

I rip my side apart every week anyway. I base my team around Suarez and Sturridge and the other 9 can all change at anytime

    What now

    by campbell Mar 9, 2014 21:11

Manchester City have a squad rotation system so sometimes it can be difficult to predict the starting line up, some players however start most Premier League games such as Hart, Kompany or Yaya Toure but with a squad rotation system you never know, sometimes even Aguero does not start and is a sub, sometimes Negrado starts or Dzeko...

There you are, a typical Kipper response, ask him to explain his rubbish and off he goes, with his tail between his legs!

I'm surprised you haven't learned your lesson .... you mess with me you'd better know what you're talking about, and have something to back it up!

Week 30, my attack on the Global Top 50!

    by LFC Wasserburg Mar 11, 2014 12:34

Wenger takes a lot of stick, but tbf he's developing probably the best midfield depth of any PL club... if you consider Oz, Jack, Theo & Ram are all at this moment out, and he's still got Ox, Caz, Pod, Gnab, Flam, Art &'sicky! lol... just imagine if 'pool lost their 4 best midfielders? Or City? Or Chelsea?

The Engineer seems to be playing it down as not too serious, but it's still a case of 'how long?' not 'he's fine!'. Well what's bad news for City... actually makes wk 30 more interesting for us, with some very decent priced alternatives allowing upgrades in other departments, useful with that massive DGW not far off.
