Also nice to see that Everton and City crumbled under the pressure. It does happen to other other clubs :-)

This madness started @Stoke when he told Lucas to go forward and Stevie to stay back, now the idiot has benched Lucas and left the CM exposed horribly... Villa are ripping them to shreds.

With or without my 'permission', she still made you look stupid, so if it's any comfort to you that I gave her permission to do it, go for it!

    Why?

    by Paddy Jan 18, 2014 18:08

Villa played 4 in midfield but they weren't flat. That meant that they were always finding space between our lines. No doubt the team set up was wrong and done so to fit Suarez and Sturridge. Lucas? I seriously have my doubts

    Rodgers has problems to solve.

    1. A midfield that isn't strong enough and
    2. How to accommodate Suarez and Sturridge.

Both need sorting to a degree this month in my opinion. If Everton turn over West Brom on Monday we slip out of the top 4. So yesterday was not a good day at the races at all.

  • Any predictions?

I'm hoping Chelsea do Man Ushyted 2-0.

I do think it'll be 'tumbleweed time' on here this evening, even though Walter Mitty, the Orungutan fiddler will be sat there glued to this forum, aching to respond to my posts whilst watching the Yahoo Matchcast! ;)

Fergie used all the powers of his abhorrent, nasty moaning personality via berating and complaining about Ref's and I am sure they got a few decisions wrongly given them, maybe more than other clubs............ but I fail to see any evidence of actual match fixing last season involving Man U or teams challenging them. I hate to say it but the win last season was testament to how brilliant the wind bag is......So I can agree with some undue influence on Ref's but not match fixing in anyway shape or form.

Hey Kipper, seems you touched a nerve there. pmsl. Rikk real name Billy, calls me a child molester because I went out with a 20 year old. Then he gets uppity cos in response I called him a closet paedo. Is it any wonder when as you correctly say he keeps dragging up ancient history like this, and can quote posts from YEARS ago. Nothing interesting to say as usual Billy Boy. You probably think debate is what a Jamaican uses to catch fish.

  • Could Swansea's goalkeeper, G. Tremmel be the buy of the week (1 million). He's had a horrible start, but home to Fulham, could be worth a gamble.

    Drummer....

...please do stop with all your geriatric ramblings...THIS is why folk have to use "quotes" with you...do you get it now...

"The fact that you have accused me of racist, sectarian, homophobic, misogynistic, chauvinist, bigoted postings, shows that you are a LYING piece of #$%$"

...no Drummer...you're the liar..."Woman"..."dolly bird"...chavanist...."Skippy" and all the "Australian stuff"..."racist"....

..."Biily Boys" chant...sectarian...."bendover"...homophobic...."UP RiKK's arswe," ..."cyber love bites"...sexual references....

....you see women as trophies...younger model for the older man...and the younger they are...the more you have to boast about...misogynist...

...you must have gone through a dozen "younger girlfriends" in the time I've seen you posting...either they are fictitious....or they grow up, mature and they leave you because they've outstripped your intellect....

...too be honest...I'm not surprised you had a "relationship" with a 20 year old at the age of 45...which we only have your word for...but I reckon you might have been functioning at the same intellectual level at that point...only you had a bit of dosh...how long did it last...:)

...btw Drummer...it would serve you well to read posts now and again...I know you say you don't bother...I think that's another lie..

...but which part of "it was a virus that came from YOUR "joke" mail don't you understand...?..

...you know enough to create sock puppets for yourself on Misc....but you don't know how to read posts...threads...or post history on a forum...?

The "talk" is that RVP is training and fit, but unlikely to feature v Sunderland in the CC tonight, whereas Rooney has a chance. Debuchy's ban is completed so he's available v Norwich on Tuesday. My guess is all 3 will be fine for wk 23. RVP's price is particularly 'keen' atm, just a pity (or a blessing?) Sturridge is so good.

    You ain't seeing double, Baldrick.

Indeed, Man U are 7th in the table and the bookies' favourite for Europa League spot.

I hope they give Moyes the time he needed to complete the job.

You should read Peter Washington's views on such cults!

"Over the 100-odd years he surveys, one keeps wondering - why are so many gurus Russian or Indian? Why are some self-invented histories so inexplicably plausible? Why do so many spiritual leaders get away for so long with embezzling from their patrons and sodomising their acolytes? There will be plenty of liberal relativists, not to mention irate devotees, who will say this is a partial view; but the circumstantial evidence of this survey is rather against them".

"Meeting the needs of the credulous in America and Britain from the 1870s, theosophy 'reconciled' all the leading world religions, and rationalised doubt by means of secret languages, levels of initiation and lurches towards the occult. The founders, Madame Blavatsky and Colonel Olcott, set the tone for alternative religion in the new age: Secret Knowledge from 'Masters' to whom only the gurus had access; esoteric or 'hermetic' traditions, loftily invoking Neo- Platonism and Rosicrucianism; rejection of 'rational' logic while preaching a reconciliation of science and mysticism: a smorgasbord approach to other revealed religions and 'teachers'; and a final opt-out to the 'inner self' when the going got sticky. Equally significant was the need for lots of money (which was duly forthcoming), and the way that exposure of fraud and scandal perversely strengthened the authority of the most unlikely people, often through their manipulation of paranoia and conspiracy theory.
