Yes, I own an apartment in Newcastle City centre which is a 15 walk from the ground, I also own two properties in the Jesmond area which are let out to students and which I make an income off.

You see, you silly OLD tit, there's these places called Airports where you can catch flights from one country to another, one city to another, a flight from Bordeaux to Newcastle isn't that much bother, book in advance and it'll set you back just over a hundred notes for a return.

Unlike you I do go and watch the football club that I support, instead of being an armchair fan like you! - LMFAO @the OLD plonker in Cairns, the place with NOTHING but backpackers beach bars and trips to Great Barrier Reef....YAWNS!!!

PS - enjoyed Bayern smashing your crock of shyte last night - OUT OF EUROPE AGAIN!

    NEXT....OINK OINK!!!

    Geordie-idiot caught out BULLSHYTING!

by Old Mother Oink! Apr 9, 2014 07:50

Oh dear, you silly OLD tit, you really do keep landing yourself in it.

I own three properties in Newcastle upon Tyne, two houses in Jesmond which are let out to students (which I make an income off) and an apartment in the city centre (which is a fifteen minute walk away from the ground) which I stay at when I return to Newcastle you know, like when I return to visit friends and family and go to Newcastle United matches at St James Park.

You see, there's these places called airports where you can get a flight via plane from one country to another, catching a flight from Bordeaux to Newcastle isn't all that much bother.

Just so you know, I'm looking to purchase another property in France which I'd like to turn into a B&B and a property in Tenerife, preferably in the Las Galletas area, which I'll let out to holiday makers and make yet another income.

Looking forward to seeing you calling it all bullshyte etc, but the joke is on you, because it's all legit and real and you're little more than a silly old tit and internet gobshyte who is OVER THE HILL.

Moancheaters Ushyted got smashed by Bayern Munich too last night!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA this just isn't your week!

    OINK OINK!

  • If you can't see the truth in that, Midget, then you're either blind to the way Arsenal play, or you're wearing blinkers.

    Cazorla interview

    by Govinda Apr 9, 2014 11:30

Cazorla says what is obvious, there is a lack of confidence amongst the squad.

  • ' Telegraph' - some journo filling page space, wishing to have a dig at Arsenal, plucking stories out of thin air.

  • "Arsenal players believe that manager Arsène Wenger’s refusal to work on the opposition has cost them a shot at the Premier League title this season.

The defeat at Everton last weekend meant that Arsenal have lost away from home against all their immediate rivals, conceding 20 goals.

Wenger’s side conceded six at Chelsea and Manchester City, let in five goals at Anfield and were beaten 3-0 by Everton. During each game, Wenger’s team conceded at least once during the opening 20 minutes.

The heavy defeats have led to Arsenal dropping out of the title race and the club now face a fight with Everton to qualify for the Champions League.

A section of Wenger’s squad would like to do more work on the opposition and believe it could help them to start stronger when faced by the Premier League’s better teams.

Jose Mourinho, the Chelsea manager, and Liverpool’s Brendan Rodgers sent their sides out to kill off Arsenal quickly by pressing high up the pitch, while Everton’s Roberto Martínez deployed Romelu Lukaku on the right to expose their opponents’ left side.

Wenger’s philosophy is to concentrate on Arsenal’s strengths and to send his side out to impose their style of play on the game, rather than trying to counter the opposition.

However there is a growing feeling that, while the approach works well against lesser teams, the best sides and more astute managers are finding it easy to pick Arsenal off.

Wenger is unlikely to change his approach for the FA Cup semi-final tie against Championship side Wigan Athletic at Wembley on Saturday."

    PL or FA cup?

    by Govinda Apr 9, 2014 14:29

"As we used to say down QPR way"

So have you given up pretending to come from North London now, Gillian?

Derek always said you were bullshyting, when you couldn't answer a few simple questions about the place you claimed you were born.

Careful what you wish for boys, we could end up with nothing, and as a gambling man I wouldn't bet against it. Bad luck and dreadful finishing will all play a part, and poor old AW hasn't been the luckiest man on the planet. But this is shaping up as a real last gasp of a season, that neither L'pool or Everton can be looking forward to. Chelsea and City look the more likely still. For my money there's too much pressure on it for L'pool, and they haven't been in such a position for years, and neither have Everton. If we begin to bury a few of those chances we always get, things will shape up nicely. I think he's got to play that 'Stretch' Sanogo(what ever his name) to put himself about up front. His a big strong lad and will give defences something to think about. Meanwhile tomorrow I'll collect my winnings on a Chelsea x Bayern double with a 'thanks Manure, I knew I could rely on you'. As we used to say down QPR way, 'nice one Cyril '....

  • This is where I think its gonna be won and lost this weekend. Do we play Coutinho? Or do we take out Toure from the game by having Allen or Lucas trailing his #$%$ all game?

Its a tough one, but I think I would use Coutinho as an impact player on this one and have Allen in a diamond midfield. I know Lucas did well at West Ham, but does he have the pace we will need on Sunday?

Week 34, will it be another monster DGW?

    by Netley Lucas Apr 6, 2014 23:59

Everyone would have Kun & cap him this DGW if he was back to normal Anthony, that's why this week is so intriguing. Think you'll find Demi has started every PL game since he returned from injury way back in January. What's more his form improved (not difficult) dramatically the moment Kompany was sent-off @Hull.

Thanks Netley, I might sell Mertesacker for either a Manchester City or Everton defender, what do you think about Demichelis instead of Mertesacker? problem is the squad rotation though at Manchester City, it can be difficult to predict who will start? Kompany always of course as he is club captain and mostly Zabaleta but the others rotate.
I have Manchester City footballers often in my team and I did when the game was called off due to bad weather so I am hoping Manchester City footballers get allocated loads of points to make up for that in this dgw.
I am certain that Aguero will eventually start smashing them in again before too long, maybe even almost catch up to Suarez's goal total but it is difficult to say whether that will start to happen in the dgw?
Suarez against Aguero could be interesting, possibly the two top strikers in the world at the moment? All opinion though I suppose.

because I don't think it is smart to risk Ramsey by playing him two full games in 4 days after such a long layoff.

    Anthony,
I can't see much point in Mertesacker tbh as his price is near season lows, so you can't have a good discount? Why not go for a DG'er and increase your chances? Jose says Haz is out for at least 2 weeks... seems likely, although reports suggest he's not too bad. Reports can often be wrong, so wait to see what JM says in the pre-Swans press conference, if out maybe Lukaku would be a decent replacement? There'll be a lot of Kun talk in the coming days, opinion will be divided on his match-ready status. Captain? Depends entirely on your attitude to risk mate... Yaya will fall into the medium-risk category I suppose, but if Kun's back and is taking pen's, then he'll need to do much more than saunter around the park to justify captaincy. gl

Netley, my (provisional) team for this week

    Hart
    Zabaleta, Mertesacker, Kompany,
    Yaya Toure, Nasri, Lallana, Matic
    Sturridge?, Dzeko (c?), Hazard?

    Subs
    Kelvin Davis, Haidara, Bertrand, Ozil

I would want Aguero in but only if he is certain to play and even then, not sure because he will take time to return to form and Negredo is off form

What do you think Netley? I could captain another Manchester City footballer such as Yaya Toure?

    Is There Anybody Out There?!?!

    by Jason Apr 8, 2014 00:44

    Hey Colyn,

Just you and I manning the boards..

Referring to idiots, perhaps that leaf can be passed along to the classless, whining, crying, self proclaimed god, down in London, who moans as if he's not got 2 pennies to rub together.

But, anyways, I'm absolutely loving every minute of this ride.. it's absolutely amazing, and there's definitely some vindication whereas Rodgers is concerned.. wish the other blokes were here to acknowledge their blushes.

I was just thinking.. isn't it amazing that in not too far memory, we were 7 points adrift of Arsenal at the top, and are now 10 points clear of them? 11 if you count goal differential. And, while we've all got our head in the clouds dreaming of what might possibly be, we're all but certain of an automatic UCL qualification in 1st, 2nd or 3rd, avoiding the early season tricks 4th brings.. but again, looking quietly, much further up!!

Yes, the lads have been well below par of late but I still think that both targets are doable given the quality of players we still have available in the squad and our oppositions. Why prioritise? Why not go all out for the two targets?
