  • Van Purse $tring, speaking to Dutch broadcasting channel NOS after the match, said that:

"Our fellow players are sometimes occupying the spaces I want to play in," he said after being whether he was allowed to drop deep to get the ball.

"And when I see that, it makes it difficult for me to come to those spaces as well. So that forces me to adjust my runs, based on the position of my fellow players."

"And, unfortunately, they are often playing in my zones. I think that's a shame."

There may be some truth to the imminent exit rumours of the Traitor as posted by Govinda, he's obviously unhappy with Rooney invading his zones. I won't be too surprised if he ends up at Galatasaray next season.

What a great finish by the Arsenal loanee.

I knew that Campbell had that in him, he won't have done his chances of sealing a move to the Emirates Stadium and a spot in our first team any harm with that finish.

I was honestly expecting Olympiacos to be on the receiving end of a real spanking by Man U, this is a damaging defeat to one of the weakest teams still remaining in the competition.

What size pants do you wear, rikki?

    How big is your manhood?

How many cubic centimetres does a Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic motorcycle engine have?

Where is the fuse box on a 1998 Harley Sportster?
    ###

Should we really subject ourselves to these sorts of juvenile non- topics, Rikki?

    Points well made, Govinda.

He isn't worth that sort of money and he isn't the only player in their squad who are simply taking the #$%$ out of the club. Mata was on £70,000 per week at Chelsea, Man U bumped up his wages to a ludicrous £150,000 per week.

The knock-on effect in all these silly deals being handed out by Man U is that when it's time for our own players to re-negotiate their our deals with Arsenal, they may be thinking to themselves that if those average mid-table fodder up north with most probably no European footie next season can extract that sort of money from their club, why not them? This is probably the main reason Bacary Sagna is digging his foot in and refusing to extend his contract unless we match his £100,000 per week demand.

Ps, isn't it funny that Arsenal hater Rikki has shy away from this meaningful discussion relating to his club like the plague, typical of the man really.

Rikki, on the subject of selling players whilst they're "still worth a few bob", I think Moyes missed a trick by handing Rooney a new 5 year contract on £300,000 per week. It's another act of desperation from Moyes in my view, this latest deal reminds me of the idiotic decision to hand the largely inconsistent Nani a new 5 year contract extension last summer. I think Moyes had a perfect chance to put his own stamp on squad, what better way of doing that than by getting rid of a wage-sucker like Rooney and tell him Man U couldn't afford his mercenaries wages with their Europa League football next season, and don't tell me that Rooney is worth HALF of the money he's currently getting at OT, he isn't, son. Man U could have bought THREE decent new strikers on £100,000 per week each who could have added more value to their squad, but instead missed that opportunity and let Rooney continue to hold them to ransom with his ridiculous wage demands. You couldn't make it up.

  • .....so we have to be ready and fight 100 per cent in every game, every competition,” he said.
“I am convinced we can win the league and we can win the cup as well. But we have to make a lot of effort.”

That's what I like to hear from our players, spot-on Sagna!

"Your opinion doesn't count because you aren't English, you're just a glory-hunting Dutchman"

You should be ashamed of yourself for having that thought, Rikki. Never mind posting on a PUBLIC forum. We’re not in the 60s anymore.

Mata has been plying his trade in the EPL since 2011 whereas Ozil has just arrived only 6 months ago, Mata has the experience of the league behind him and knows what the EPL is all about . For Ozil, the English league's rough and tumble style is a whole new ball game for him and it's like being taken to the park and learning how to ride a bike. It takes time to perfect, Rikki.

Ps, why the personal attack again? Govinda is just stating his opinion, and there is no denying that many share the same opinion that it takes time to acclimatise to the EPL.

Why would anyone make such idiotic claim when the likes of Barca for example have Messi, Fabregas, Neymar, to name but three, on their books?

Keep up the good work, Rikki!

Without a decent pacy striker like Walcott to give Bayern plenty to think about, our chances of progressing are very slim over 2 legs - I make it 30/70 in favour of Bayern which tells you all you need to know about this mismatch resources-wise. I will bite your hands off for a slender 1 goal lead to take to Allianz Arena now, and that would be great if we don't concede at home. Sad to say, Arsenal are badly resourced for these sorts of high profile games, imho. It seems like a David v Goliath encounter to me. In saying that, this is football - anything can happen.

Borussia Dortmund 'had the better game' when Arsenal beat them on their patch. Vice versa Arsenal. #$%$ happens! This is FOOTBALL. Move on and stop crying over spilled milk . It would happen again, and again to ALL teams. Deal with it.

    ...........easy on Rikki.

He's hurting b'cos his second rate team gets knocked out of the cuppa, lol. Are Arsenal sposed to feel sorry for doing our job on the day - sticking the ball in the onion net, TWICE, when it mattered and not relying on a ref to do it for us? Pmsl@crybabyrikk!

Where have you been all these years when Govinda consistently ripped into Wenger, Rikk? Surely NOT on this same Arsenal board.

Ps, Govinda spot-on, you need to do something about your obsessive Arsenal hatred, son..

I'm sorry but Rikki has been made to look foolish on this subject just like his role model - Maureen.

Maureen has no clue what Arsenal's targets were in the period he mentioned, so shush!
