So that is arguably the GK of the world cup in the bag and i would imagine Ospina will give the current Arsenal No.1 a real run for his money. I wonder if Arsene has just signed the new No1 GK at the club, leaving Scez sweaing on the bench?

    ..the rumours persist.
I think he'd make a GREAT signing....and scare the #$%$ out of the rest of the Prem in doing so.

One can only assume that Jose is a tad worried, what with him feeling the need to begin the mind games long before the season even begins.
You can keep Fabregas Jose.....we got the worlds best no.10!

  • Just been announced officially. I confess....i'm all excited.

All this talk of therapy to somehow cure Suarez of his liking for chomping opponents does make me titter. I mean, all we heard from Lpool last season was talk of their great psychologist Dr Steven Peters, (who was also part of the England set up BTW) Suarez must of had his fill of therapy from the supposed best in the business!!!

Why would anyone think he wouldn't bring the guy to the Emirates? Campbell certainly looks promising.

There has been a downward trend in his stats every season at the club. He slipped right back into the FCB [Football Club Barcelona] system as if he'd never been away. But despite glowing starts to each campaign, Cesc's contributions to the cause gradually decreased as each season drew to a close.

From being someone who joined in with the attack, supplying and scoring goals, the magic tended to fade later on in each season. He only scored one, six and one goals in the last 24 games of each season. For some reason, he was never as good in the second half of a season as in the first.'

Barca on Fabregas. Perhaps Wenger could see the cracks too?

think England played bloody well last night, a couple of defensive errors apart. I actually enjoyed watching the team and i haven't felt that way for an age. This group isn't finished yet for England. I can now only hope they can manage to overcome Uruguay and Arsenals fantastic little striker, Campbell!

Yupp Sagna, the guy with arguably the worst hairdo in football (but a great Missus, tutt, what money can do eh!?!) has slunk off to get his grubby hands on yet more filthy lucre. Wouldn't it be refreshing and far more respectable if these guys just admitted it was all about cash instead of trotting out #$%$ along the lines of Sagnas...

.'"To be fair, i don't even know where to start or even how to say it... but i just wanna thank the whole Arsenal fc... a family to me," Sagna's message said.

"A club who taught me so much in 7years, a club where i had the chance to progress day by day, a club who always gave me his trust whenever i was personally not at my best...

"Of course i wanna thank the coach MR WENGER... who believed in me..gave me his trust..and clearly changed my life. Now, it's time for me to move on and one more time THANK YOU ."

    YAWN.

Van Gaals tactics were spot on but Spain helped the Dutch cause. I don't recall watching Spain unable to keep the ball before like i witnessed 2nd half. Van Gaal is a horrible looking guy, he has that real nasty look about him. Ferguson like.
I think Hodgson may well surprise with this England squad. I've always rated Roy 'Ken Dodd' Hodgson. I hope he's just quietly going about the business of instilling confidence and understanding into this group of players, England have some great talent after all but i think the last world cup squad, on paper, were probably our best side for years. Unfortunately, together, on grass, they were #$%$.

  • FABONGRASSS by FABONGRASSS Jun 14, 2014 07:28 Flag

Great game from Holland last night. Crikey, Spain fell apart! Van #$%$ showed what us Arsenal fans always knew, that he is a world class player, if a bottom rate person. Robben is incredible. #$%$ is Torres doing in Brazil!?!?!
I wouldn't write Spain off just yet though.

Let's hope England actually play with some desire and togetherness this time round rather than the p!ss poor outings of recent WC tournaments. Going to be a late night drinking ale!

All i recall is your constant need to resort to untruths in the face of my unceasing bombardment of facts and razor sharp wit. What i know is that your whole little world revolves around your need of my attention, for any crumb flung wearliy in your direction by my good self. I know i have appeal. All the ladies LOVE the Fab, but Rikki, poor beleaguered Rikki, you really need to grab yourself a wet wipe, clean up that moist patch you have for me and GET A GRIP.

    For your own good huh.

In your little mind you may 'ridicule' other posters Rikki, but in the mind of anyone with more than your poor count of braincells, it is you who are the subject of derision and jovial p!ss take.

I don't expect you to agree. You're far too dim.
