Hmmm....didn't ManUseless draw with Southampton at very Old Trafford? Arsenal may have under performed last night and thus given you a crumb to chew, but at least they managed the win at home.

Long way to go yet in this race......and Arsenal are still in it.

    Man U?

Do even the 'little fish' you catch show you for the fool you are then Rikki?

    Chortle!

The clever lot at ManUseless have shot themselves in the foot (again!) by giving fans the chance to #AskCarrick via Twitter. This immediately turned into a mass p!sstake (think Rikki on here!) of all things ManUseless.

Well worth seeking out the article on Yahoos Early Doors for a taster and a big hearty chortle me thinks.

Much love TOP of the Prem Gooners (even though Rikki told us it wouldn't last more than a fortnight about....ooh.....a month or so ago. pmsl).

Seems the whole world is laughing about it, just Googled more gems.

My favourite question thus far is ' have you tried wearing your kit backwards, to see if it helps you pass the ball forwards?'

    Halcyon daays!

You mean like those people who claimed to support Liverpool for years, and then, when ManUseless were leading the table, suddenly became ManUseless supporters? Know what I mean Rikki!?!??! PMSL

BTW, seems you have become an Arsenal 'supporter' these days, seeing as the only board you discuss football on is this one (please note that when I write discuss, it is purely for want of a better term).

Much love funny little mid table Jimmy Saville victim ( no doubt your only sexual experience to date (that you didn't have to pay cash for anyway)).

    Much love.

I thought the results were counted against ALL the teams in the division Rikki?

PS. I am chuckling heartily at the fact that you have chosen to refer to the 'top ten teams', I mean, you had to try and include ManUseless after all!

A statue of 'God', that's Dennis Bergkamp to any Arsenal fan worth his salt, is about to be unveiled at the Emirates, before the next home game. This latest statue will join those of Chapman, Adams and Henry. Now if I were asked who my favourite all time Arsenal player would be, it would be Dennis 'the God' (in our house), yet, when I look at the statues thus far erected I am left wondering why it is that so many other 'legends' have been overlooked. Would Charlie George not be deserved of one? Liam Brady? I think George Graham deserves one myself (though I bet the poor #$%$ doesn't get one), Alan Sunderland perchance? Glenn Helder!?!?!? Apart from Chapman, the statues so far all played together!!!
Any players you think deserve to be immortalised that have not had the honour so far? My Arsenal worship only began in 1974 and I'm sure others go back further than spring chicken Fab.

    GOOONERS!

One loss doesn't lose a title race.

Lpool were great and fully deserved the win and the margin. That said, Arsenal were shell shocked and reeling and out of the game before the 20 minute mark.

I'm gutted but am not about to write the lads off yet.

Oh....I believe it was far far more AMUSING!!!

I bet your face was a picture!!!

PS. You seen your mate PIGGY? He seems to have done a runner.....AGAIN!!!

    AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA!

  • Wenger has said that the team were 'feeble' to a man against Lpool, and nobody could disagree with that. That said, 4-0 down after 18mins, in what was viewed as a crucial game, one which the manager had called on his players to make a 'statement', I think it is understandable that the players looked and felt weak.
    It IS a major worry.
The next three games are ManUseless, Lpool (cup) and the Bayern. OUCH!

This period will either destroy this team or make it IMO as the lads confidence and desire will either rocket, or go into a tailspin.
A win over ManUseless would go a long way in setting the lads up for Lpool and Bayern. Thing is, Arsenal seem to have a mental block when it comes to that grim lot from outside of Manchester. The last game proved that as Arsenal were head and shoulders the better team (once we got going), yet still managed to undo ourselves. I wouldn't bet on an Arsenal win on Wednesday, even though that lot are so poor it looks as though the only way they will be in a major European competition next year is if Moyes 'writes the tune himself'.

Take a deep breath Gooners. It really is squeaky bum time.

With injuries and suspensions, the squad options are looking thin, though I think capable of winning if their hearts and heads are right.
Don't believe the pundits. Lpool today are being lauded as on the verge of greatness, that opinion can change in a week in this fickle world, much as the opinion on Arsenal and City has changed so radically through the course of this season alone, in one way or another. Arteta, it is fashionable to say, is not up to the job of DM, yet was it not Arteta who won the plaudits for playing that exact role so very well against Lpool earlier in the season? Ozil is supposedly invisible, yet the guy has a great assist rate and his passing stats put most TEAMS to shame.
Lets hope the lads pull their socks up and that this is the last of the banana skins Wenger will slip on this season.

    Much PROUD Gooner love.
