Responding to the 'boring' chants, Mourinho said: "I'd agree. I played against them 10 times and I NEVER LOST.
"'Funny, funny Jose'. Ten times, they don't win once. What do you want to call me?"

Playing our best we managed 1 shot on target in 90 minutes, and you had the audacity to say THEY are boring? Below their best, yet to hit their stride, this chelsea will finish above us come may, mark my words.

We were lucky to escape with a point against a side who got their tactics spot-on in the conditions present. They managed double the amount of shots whilst we had to wait til late in the game to register a first shot on target from the poor giroud. A display NOT befitting title challengers thats for sure.
Ramsey kicks the ball out while ramires is down and giroud runs over at him and shamefully berates him. This comes only a week after ozil refuses to thank our fans after our drubbing at the hands of man city. A poor dressing room attitude methinks

At home in the same corresponding fixture? I should have been more specific, silly me I thought you would be able to work that out given I gave you the figures (played just 9 was a clue) in the title headings. Lesson learned, you cant argue with stupid (john) as they say!
"i find it amazing considering the narratives we have been fed this season. arsenal are in top form, sweeping all before them, transformed by ozil and ready to finally end their trophy drought...or so i have been told. chelsea are in crisis, inconsistent, unable to score, conceding freely and the mourinho rerun isn't going to plan...or so the press would have me believe. and yet...if chelsea win, they go above arsenal...no-one needs to tell me that, it's a fact."
A wise words from another true arsenal fan with the blinkers off. Wenger has much work to do to get his first win in 10 games over maureen.

I think in the case of januzaj he was getting out of the way of a forthcoming career ending injury, and was wise to do so. At 18 years of age he seemed to have the world at his feet and am sure disciplinarian david moyes wont let the diving antics of ashley young creep into his game.
Makes for depressing reading this christmas holidays. Our beloved arsenal could slip as far down the EPL table to FOURTH, and suddenly our great start looked like it did every season before, a FALSE hopes.
January signings are crucial now, hopefully we can steal a point and not throw the towel in like previous times against champions man utd or title favourites man city. Tough streaks ahead methinks.
Now the need for a top CB is as necessary as the need to sign a world class striker, however I will focus this topic on the striker position henceforth.
Luis Suarez - signed a new contract, was always too rich for our blood and couldnt see why he would move when he is at a club on the same level to us.
Paul George Ntep is latest to be linked. Dont know much about him but he is the stereotypical wenger signing. If hes anything like sanogo we should give a wide berth.
Diego Costa - the inform madrid striker is certainly better than what we have, but why would he leave potential title hopefuls for pretenders? Seems too good to be true as they wont want to lose him and he is happy there. Untried in the EPL so a risk.
Loic remy - a more realistic option for january trasnfer. Can play in ECL too.
Any other potential targets would be welcome addition to the list. One things for certain we must not dilly dally and striker while the irons hot. Build on the luck we have rode and we may do better than we could have hoped. Failure to strengthen will most likely see us collapse at the crucial stage which we have seen signs of already with this tired squad out of sorts.

Using common sense and deductive reasonings to logically conclude that we cannot win the league this year is NOT lazy, it is sound critical thinking that separates us from every other life form on the planet of which we were born to use. It is CERTAIN that the league will end after the 38th game is played by each and every EPL team and when that day comes we can only hope arsenal will be in the top four finishing places, that however IS an uncertainty!

It matters not who said it, resorting to 'ad hominem' attacks is usually what is done by people who know they have lost the argument or are just plain thick! I will let the others decide which category you are in.
Paul Merson seems to be another giving ian wright a run for his money as 'who is the thickest ex arsenal player'. Needles to say it is not for speaking why we support them but for their ability on the pitch. the truth of the matter is owen has made an astute analysis of our current state of affairs, and wenger would be wise to take heed of his advise methinks.
"There is little doubting that Wenger's men are now a well-oiled machine," Owen wrote on social networking site Sportlobster.
"The players all know their jobs inside out with Wenger rarely changing his system and against the lesser lights in the league I always fancy them to out-score their opponents.
"It is against the big boys where I think they could struggle as, in my opinion, they don't have the class of player to go toe-to-toe with the main title contenders.
"Despite people constantly telling me that Mesut Ozil is world class, his inconsistency means that we only see occasional glimpses of real quality.
"His odd good performance is usually followed by half a dozen poor ones and despite Giroud performing admirably, unless Wenger acquires a new striker to help share the load, they could just tail off the longer the season goes on."
Wenger MUST sign a quality striker in january and will be short sighted if he fails to achieve this target.

Fabongrasss why so wound up to the extreme? Your defensiveness for ozil reveals your true worries. He is inconsistent and this is now agreed upon in the game by the true experts. That ship has cast anchors and sailed Im afraid to say. The stats DO lie in your case, much as they did when arsehavin joined and flattered to deceive, you were of the same mindset Im sure that he was a great and still you dont learn.
Mark my words, ozil is another flop of the same ilk, destined for the scrap heap. What we need now more than ever is a world class striker. I would however not be opposed to taking remy in the meantime who is a class above the poor giroud.

This season has shown that fergie was a true great of the game, as he dominated the name of the game season after season for 25 years. Now there is no true champion left just pretenders fighting for scraps. Arsenal proved they were poor shipping 6 against city and losing at home to poor aston villa and collapsing mentally against man u. Liverpool lost to hull and arsenal and lack quality , man u have struggled under new manager moyes to find their feet, chelsea are all over the place and man city have a great team at home, and a poor one away.
No outstanding candidate thats for sure. An betting man would we wise to pick man city to run away with it.

It is highly unlikely that the title race will be close with us in the touching distance of a few points, considering we have been 20+ points off in previous years gone by. How could the gap just close with no action taken? Expensive acquisition Ozil has been too inconsistent which has now been recognized by many an expert of the game. A striker will help us secure 3rd or 4th that is agreed upon but to win the title we need a major overhaul of the squad case closed.

This is bad news for us, couldnt worse timing infact. Chelsea will be like a wounded animal in our game and that makes them a dangerous prospect. This was an ill timed post not very well thought out.
Gets the thumbs DOWN from me im afraid to say.
