Manchester City Message Board
I was in the North Stand Lower with you lot on Sunday and I must say what a great time I had. Funny, witty chanting and a good bunch of people. Felt odd being an 'Away fan' at VP but it was good.

Not been on here for a while and am not usually the voice of reconcilaition but we've got him now like it or not so I suppose we should start giving him a bit of support. Get some good players in, weve got an easy start to the season so get off to a flyer and lets see. I was pi55ed as anyone earlier in the week but he's now our manager and if he does a good job I'll support him. He must have a big pair though cause if we hit a sticky patch he's really gonna get some!
Now lets get Foster, Dann, and Johnson and continue the Bluenose Revolution!
Disgrace of a result, disgrace of a team, disgrace of a a club.
I have been reserved about the 'Randy' Generation, because he has done some good stuff, however enough is enough. We are a club in decline and this Board don't give a f""k.
Go now Randy, it's not our fault that MBNA lend to the sub prime market, you bought this club with a promise of better things to come, you have failed us.
Top manager gone!
No Players signed!
Out of Europe (Again)
Top half of the table finish a REAL challenge!
GO AND GO NOW, I never thought I would ever sound like a scouser but GO YANKS, if you cant invest in my club then go and go now.
I feel sorry for Kevin Mc because he is a good man and he has inherited this sh1t.
We are going down at this rate.

I share your frustration, but (with the exception of a forward) I think we have enough to function 'at our level', and yes that winds me up too. We run out of steam because Martin (for all his strengths) played the same players every week if they were fit and that is why March was always a nightmare. This time last year I watched Nigel reo Coker have a great game in a win at Liverpool, yet he barely played again. Luke Young is as good a full back as you will find, Curtis Davies was in the england squad before his injury. Then there are the kids, in that Peace cup last summer, Albrighton, Lihaj, Clarke, Weimann, Bannan, All had a great tournament but were never seen again until Saturday!
I was a big MON fan but he was his own worst enemy, when things were not working a 'tactical' change meant a like for like swap, more often than not Heskey for Carew!!!!
I am normally the most pessimistic to55er you will ever come across but I think things are not too bad, swap Milner for Ireland (plus money), buy Robbie Keane (which we should have done years ago) and lets give it a go.
We need to look down the M6 at Arsenal rather than up at Man City because even their own fans think that that is going to BANG,
That is the Gospel according to Vileman!

With one or two 'bottom-less pit' exceptions we all have to balance the books. Martin didn't seem to buy into this plan, so, so be it.Spending money you don't have is the way of Leeds!
Would I rather be be a comfortable 6th or a over-invested 4th this season and league 1 in three years? TRICKY!
I supported Ellis, I support Lerner. Spend what we can afford and do our best, that is the villa way

Well bugger me I am agreeing with the mouseman!
I loved Martin but I honestly think his time had passed, had he gone in May we would have all shook his hand and said 'good luck son'. The fact of his timing has left a bitter pill and that will stick in Villa fans minds for a while to come.
Kevin Mc has been a good servant to the club so I think we should give him a chance. If however it does not work please give him his old job back, it's time we looked after our own and this chap seems like one of them.
Though having wavered in recent years(started going to the rugby and picked the wrong side)
villa till I die!

I may be an opinionated git, and I do ttalk sense now and again. It seems it was my view of the Barry situation last summer that got most people offside. Hohum

I'd agree with Ireland but I'd have big reservations about Barry. I don't like buying back old players in general as history has proven that it rarely works out. Also I honestly believe we have had his best years.
He left for money, let him stay gone and if Milner does (and he probably will) leave, lets look forward not back.

Realistically I think he will retire soon but I hope not. All the best to the bloke, he should be at the World Cup but I was at the game when his ankle was injured and I remember saying to my mate I don't think he'll play again. Hope I'm wrong, good luck and and all the best.
Six in a row, it's like being in Scotland
God bless Sky I didn't realise I was watching history. I can tell this to my Grand children/ I am so happy!!!!!
For the first time in History!!! finally I can forget about that 3-2, 2-1, 2-1, 1-0 nonsense I had to put up with as a kid.
...and after our wembley experiences a dodgy penalty as well, It doesn't get any better than this!
Thanks for the 6 points AGAIN!!!!

This is a man who has beaten people up, slept with his mates missus, taken backhanders to show rich people around Chelsea's training ground. has a family that are getting arrested for shop lifting and drug dealing.
I agree, get this thug out of the England squad. Milner is lucky his trailing leg was off the ground.

Not racist then.............Ha Ha Ha.
You have been revealed Doughboy, stop backpeddling YOU ARE A RACIST and it is plain for all. Villa, Blues, Baggies or Wolves I can have. There is no reasoning with Bigots. That is what you are, go away, stay away!

Changed your profile picture to profess your extreme right wing views. How you can say that, that doesn't imply racism is just plain comical.
You really are as thick as Ithought
