Mata has been plying his trade in the EPL since 2011 whereas Ozil has just arrived only 6 months ago, Mata has the experience of the league behind him and knows what the EPL is all about . For Ozil, the English league's rough and tumble style is a whole new ball game for him and it's like being taken to the park and learning how to ride a bike. It takes time to perfect, Rikki.
Ps, why the personal attack again? Govinda is just stating his opinion, and there is no denying that many share the same opinion that it takes time to acclimatise to the EPL.

Why would anyone make such idiotic claim when the likes of Barca for example have Messi, Fabregas, Neymar, to name but three, on their books?
Keep up the good work, Rikki!

Without a decent pacy striker like Walcott to give Bayern plenty to think about, our chances of progressing are very slim over 2 legs - I make it 30/70 in favour of Bayern which tells you all you need to know about this mismatch resources-wise. I will bite your hands off for a slender 1 goal lead to take to Allianz Arena now, and that would be great if we don't concede at home. Sad to say, Arsenal are badly resourced for these sorts of high profile games, imho. It seems like a David v Goliath encounter to me. In saying that, this is football - anything can happen.

Borussia Dortmund 'had the better game' when Arsenal beat them on their patch. Vice versa Arsenal. #$%$ happens! This is FOOTBALL. Move on and stop crying over spilled milk . It would happen again, and again to ALL teams. Deal with it.
...........easy on Rikki.
He's hurting b'cos his second rate team gets knocked out of the cuppa, lol. Are Arsenal sposed to feel sorry for doing our job on the day - sticking the ball in the onion net, TWICE, when it mattered and not relying on a ref to do it for us? Pmsl@crybabyrikk!

"Liverpool had the better of the game, but missed their scoring chances"
Didn't know they now award points /qualification into the next round for 'missed scoring chances', Rikki, lol!

"You post ***all the time*** like Arsenal can do no wrong"?
Where have you been all these years when Govinda consistently ripped into Wenger, Rikk? Surely NOT on this same Arsenal board.
Ps, Govinda spot-on, you need to do something about your obsessive Arsenal hatred, son..

I'm sorry but Rikki has been made to look foolish on this subject just like his role model - Maureen.
Maureen has no clue what Arsenal's targets were in the period he mentioned, so shush!

"a penalty is a penalty"
If that's the case, probably overdue for an Arsenal side that rarely get borderline decisions in their favour.

If Liverpool's first team players are relying on penalties to draw a match against what was largely Arsenal's second string players, they probably don't deserve anything out of the match don't you think Rikki? The second penalty claim could have been given on another day but it isn't a penalty for me as Suarez was trying to 'make a meal out of it' and that should tell you something. ^Ask yourself why Suarez needs to fling himself through the air like a salmon making his way home to mate.^ Is that really necessary to convince Webb that he's being fouled, Rikki? This is one of the reasons I was baffled that Wenger tried to sign him last summer. Suarez is a cheat and would never change his ways. On another note: Gerrard arguably should have received at least three yellow cards for his consistent poor tackling in the game and Skytel could've conceded a penalty on another day, but Webb bottled it. As such it could be argued that the decisions evened out over the game. And just to be clear - I don't buy into the tedious refereeing conspiracy nonsense in the media. There's no conspiracy against LFC; refereeing standards just aren't consistent enough as Stoke City fans would attest as they had a penalty given against them when Raheem Sterling dived in the league match.

You still haven't the decency to reply to my Moyes' questions, Rikki.
And don't pretend you haven't seen it, but here go again..............., what do you make of Moyes' reign so far? Is he the right person for the Old Trafford job?

Govinda, I think you're being ridiculous with your 'Ozil will leave because of Giroud' remarks. Ozil knew that Giroud was at the club before he signed for us, so why would he want to leave? Yes, I'm sure that some of the players may be frustrated that Giroud kept wasting golden opportunities in tight games to make the difference but that in itself won't force any of his teammates to renege on their rich contracts with the club. It's a little known secret that Wenger by the is looking for top top class striker, even Lewandowski admitted a few days ago that Szczesny tried many times to convince him to sign for Arsenal before he joined Bayern. Fact of the matter is the club cannot do anything about the striker problem because the pool of top class strikers who will strengthen Arsenal and are available in the January transfer window is sparse. I read today that even Wenger stated that we're short in the forward position which indicates that he's fully aware about the team's shortcomings in this area.
I also don't understand why Podolski has been restricted to few games despite being 100% fit and raring to go, there must be a reason which isn't obvious to most of us why Wenger isn't giving him much action.

Indeed, Man U are an average side and some of us have been saying the same for the last 3 seasons, sadly for Man U fans the dubious decisions which seem to go their way in many games in previous seasons have dwindled, I believe this factor coupled with the fact that most of their players are mediocre accounted for their 7th placed postion this season, yes Moyes isn't good enough as top manager but not having decent players in the squad also compounded his on-going on-field problems. I for one I'm not surprised that they are rubbish.

Of course, having Walcott and Ramsey in the side last evening would have made all the difference for Arsenal especially given the form both players were in before being sidelined. HUGE miss!
