now ade is on his way back when we have him he takes dempseys role and that means bale/holtby left and centre with no changes to the rest of the team till sandro and kabs are fit.

    lloris
    walker daws verts bae
    parker dembele
    lennon holtby bale
    ade

    but when all are fit

    lloris
    walker kabs verts bea
    sandro dembele
    lennon holtby bale
    ade

it wold be a shame to see ble move out wide as he is blistering in that central role he is taking up.

dempsey has to play upfront hes a recognised striker and scores. ok not a world beater but a striker none the less. for me i would go with dempsey upfront and bale and holtby alternating from wide to central as the game goes on.bale to start out wide left and drift , wouldnt change the rest of the team till sandro and kaboul are fit.

    1) kaboul or parker , but i think kaboul pips it with some solid commanding displays.
    2) maybe not improved player but improved position, right back. we finaly have a class right back in walker.
    3) modric staying and then going on a 11 game run without lose
    4) walkers against arsenal or bea's cracker
    5) wins against arsenal and newcastle
    6) 2-1 vs arsenal
    7) have to agree on levy's comments about we are not selling our players.
    8) that we didnt finish 3rd, i was sure we would.
    9) some BIG signings coming in and to finaly beat man utd
    10) fa cup and 3rd.

im a big bea fan i think that he has been so improved in the last 2-3 years and one of the most solid players in our team. yes he is a bit daft at times with his control but his overall play has saved us games and won us games.

i think against the arse he was shocking , but so was most of the team. bales wondering around meant less of an outlet ball cos he would go walk about. plus i thougt he was to blame for not closing sagna down for the goal. i think his wondering exposses bea and its harsh to blame him totally for all of the game.
king was slow and looked a bit lost, walker to keen to bomb forward ,kaboul looked slow, so the whole back four didnt look up for it.

but in myu opinion we lost the game in the midfield, they won all the loose balls and passed right through us. modric and parker were tore apart, and then the man who came on to shore it up fucked of to be a striker. sandro was appalling when he came on . did any one see daws tear him a new on when he came on?

our midfield was ripped apart and that expossed the back four to much. i cant believe that the players who they played did a number onb our team. rociskey and arteta and walcott have been shocking for ages and then all of the sudden they turn in to barca.

bad bad game for every one , mangers players and fans. harry got it wrong with his subs for me, and the players didnt show up in the second half.

need to bounce back , but will be hard against man utd.lets hope the whl faithfull inspire a fight.

defo, i think we have the chance to really show we are top dogs in london this season and that should spur them on.

good to see we have all the big players fit and a full team to play, they have injuries to most of their defenders so if there was every a chance to beat them at theirs this is it imho.

2-0 spurs , 2-1 if rvp turns up. but a win in any case.

ok so we are favourites for the match according to sky sports pundits( all apart from charlie the cunt) arsenal are being wrote off against our team , people are saying that we should win this.

is any one else nervous that this has happened before and we have lost. i have confidence in the team and harry, i think our midfield with modric and parker will boss arteta and co all day. but i guess the old spurs nerves are getting the better of me.

i want a win so badly like all spurs fans and spurs winning will do so much for us and also write of the their season.

anyway nerves aside my head is saying 2-1 to us but my heart is wary of a cornered animal.

totally agree, its the kind of message that i have been trying to get across for a while. i do understand the dreaded feeling of playing the old top 4 in the epl cos we had such a dreadfull record. but it has improved drasticly and i feel those teams will nolonger see us as a home banker but as a team that can and will take 3 points of u if u give us the chance.

only just watched the game as i was working, so i recorded it and finally sat down.

wow wow wow what a game for us spurs fans. alot has been said about individual names but personally i would give them all 10 out of 10. i thought ade destroyed newcastle, saha was the missing striker in the middle we have missed(cos of formations etc) and the midfield was solid and kept the ball so well.

i think the unsung hero of the game was friedel who onyl had to make a couple of saves but didnt lose concentration with not having a lot to do.
love seeing king and daws in the middle of defense, my fav pairing and they were solid again.10 clean sheets for the season and 2 in a row.

loved seeing niko make the most of his starts in the team and then having defoe and lennon come on as subs must of made newcastle wet themselves. what a bench we have and players are taking the opportunities when them get them.

so many positives to take from the game , yes they had there 2 best midfielders missing but thats the EPL for you. great to see 5 goals, amazing to hear the crowd sing so loud and for so long.

in cloud nine right now ,cant wait to see nelsen, the young south african possibly, livermore and a few others get a game at stevenage and then bring on the arsenal.

    Dirty players at the Lane.

players like ruddock , zokora, tarrico and fruend could all tackle but i dont think there has ever been a player i would call a dirty player. no one like roy keane or vinny jones.

i think the tradition of playing good football has always meant we have footballers and not thugs. i coul dbe wrong but i cant think of any one thats ever played that was a dirty player.

for where he kicks him and where the ball is i would say it is deliberate. its shows hes a dirty fouling low life. i hope they look back at it and ban him more

im hoping that the arses next 2 games hurts them bad and we get a few of our boys back before that game. i think with the backbone we showed in the pool game can drive us on to another win against the enemy.

totaly agree Joe, to add to all the other stuff he goes and boots parker. daws put on his twitter page suarez called him a white honkey. not sure if hes having a laugh but im not ruling it out.

i grew up watching liverpool through the 80's when they were good. a few mates supported them as they were the man utd of the time and i always watched and kept up with there results even till recently. but now with kk and his bad attitude ive switched off and hope they slip down the league.

does anyone know if anything can come of the kick on parker??

have to say the jol years are one of my fav tottenham periods. i love the big fella and loved the football we played. daws and king sums that time up as they were amazing and fit nearly all the time.

they love king kenny up here, hes a legend and cant do anything wrong. any time u criticise anything they all just throw 18 titles and 5 euro trophys at you. i think they forget man utd have 19 now. it has actually made me lose respect for lfc as kennys smart arse comments are letting the club down imho.

but im kind of safe the wife is a blue so want us to win last night.lol

yeah joe i live in liverpool. its been a battle all night and morning. they are saying we sat back and bale dived, i just asked whats worse bale diving or suarez kicking parker and then reminded them of the poolvs city game. we all know people have short memorys.

i think we have to give a certain amount of credit to pool as then penned us back and got at us. i am as ive said very impressed at the back bone and work we show when we arnt getting it all our way.

loved seeing daws and king playing , they are my favourite pairing and so solid. i know kaboul has been immense but daws and king are my pick.

joe after reading all the posts i feel u have hit the nail on the head with all u said.

loved havin daws and king in the centre. they are always solid together and i thought they did a amazing job.i noticed tonight we got to pretty much all the second balls or knock downs. it showed a stregnth that is rapidly becoming a everyday part to our game and not just a one off.

i thought the midfield of livermore ,modric and parker were out of this world. livermore really putin a mature performance and is growing into a class player. modrics touch is brilliant and parker was there to clean up any threats. defo motm for me.

off game for bale ,but i think we can let him off and a ok game for niko, walker and co.

defo would have liked to have seen saha up with ade. he needed soem help and i think we could of benifited from taking niko rather then jake off and played modric on the left bale right and then 2 upfront.

does anyone think that if arry had been there we might of gone for it and kevin and the boys didnt want to lose??? just a thought.

there are 2 things im taking from this game 1, we took 4 points and 2 clean sheets of liverpool. and 2, we have shown that we have strength in our squad and the will and passion to succed. this was defo a game we would have lost a few years ago and i know i have said it before but it shows progress and that counts for a lot.

a statement released today saying we are pulling out for breach of regulations. liverpool are now in the semis.

    anyone know why?????

  • just seen bentley might be back in the spurs line up soon. i know that we all have wrote him off as not good enough and a show boater with no follow through, but with the injuries we have and the poor transfer window why not play him?

id like to think niko, livermore and sandro are all ahead of him as far as subs are concerned but he could add that natural right hand width we miss when lennon is missing. cant see him getting too much pitch time as arry doesnt even give gio a chance in the league . but im not against him back in the squad , might help us get shot of him next transfer window.

    any thoughts???

i dont believe kentish is happy with insults SB, and i think jimmy went too far with his reply. but u have pissed most people off with how u come across and u . i dont want a row but ur response to kentish was a typical defense cat trapped in a corner SB response.

if we dont agree with ur post its no that ur wrong its just we dont agree, ur reviews on the games and indepth and u hit the nail on the head at times but ur posts come across as stating facts and that u possible cant be wrong. thats my opinion.

i havent seen the game yet but have heard it wasnt good.

maybe im a stupid postive fool but this last 2 years weve been winnng or drawing games when we play rubbish. this is for the first time in a long time. so for all the bad points in the game to be in the next round and where we r in the league i will take a sh1t game or 3 as long as we win or get through.
