The European Champions League winners will face either the African or Asian Champions League winners on December 17 in Agadir for a spot in the final, which will be held in Marrakech on December 21.
The German treble winners will not know who their two potential opponents will be until early November when the CAF and AFC editions of the continental club competitions conclude.
Orlando Pirates, Esperance Tunis, Coton Sport Garoua and Al-Ahly are all in the running for the CAF crown while Republic of Korea side FC Seoul and Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande, coached by Italian 2006 FIFA World Cup winning coach Marcelo Lippi, both recently reached the Asian final.
On the other side of the Club World Cup bracket are Ronaldinho’s Copa Libertadores winners Athletico Mineiro, host side Raja Casablanca, Oceania representatives Auckland City and CONCACAF champions Monterrey.
