A featherweight bout between Dustin Poirier and Akira Corassani has been added to The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale. UFC officials announced the match-up on Friday.

Poirier (15-3) is on a two-fight winning streak. He knocked out Diego Brandao in his last outing at UFC 168 on Dec. 28. The 25-year-old is currently ranked sixth in the 145-pound weight class.

Corassani (12-3, 1 NC) is riding a three-fight winning streak. He last competed on Nov. 30, 2013, when he was illegally kneed while downed by Maximo Blanco and rendered unable to continue. He was declared the winner by disqualification. A win over Poirier would strengthen his case to crack the top 15 rankings.

The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale takes place on April 16 at the Colisee Pepsi in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. The event is headlined by a middleweight bout between Michael Bisping and Tim Kennedy.

The fight card also features the welterweight and middleweight The Ultimate Fighter Nations finals, as well as a match-up between the reality series coaches Patrick Cote and Kyle Noke.
