British number one Crawford underlined his position as he finished sixth overall and ranked top Brit ahead of TJ Baldwin.

"There are some top, top guys here from France and Italy making the races very competitive," he said.

"I've skied really well but made a few mistakes, so sadly I've not made as many FIS points as I could have."

Meanwhile, Darcie Mead, a member of Team GB at last year's Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck, won the women's downhill usually dominated by three-time Olympian Chemmy Alcott, who is sidelined through injury.

Mead also won the Super-G.
