The Canadian will miss the entire season after he sustained a tibula-fibula fracture after catching an edge while landing a jump during a FIS race at Copper Mountain.
“I’m going to stay positive. I’m fortunate to have some pretty amazing team-mates who I can call my friends. They’re supporting me and I know they’ve got my back,” said 27-year-old Dixon who has had 11 top-10 finishes in his World Cup career.
He recorded a career-best fourth-place finish in a Super G at Beaver Creek last season.
