All-American Hero UFC Champ Chris Weidman Saves Elderly Neighbor

UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman isn't only an “All-American” hero in the cage, he's also one in his everyday life.

According to Weidman's wife, her hubby noticed their 92-year-old neighbor in peril and immediately reacted.

“(Our neighbor) fell onto a glass table and had pieces stuck in her head,” Weidman's wife, Marivi, posted on Instagram. “She was in her driveway bleeding out in the rain trying to call her daughter on the phone. Chris ran over and brought her inside, cleaned her up and called 911. #myhero”

Helping others is nothing new to the UFC champ. Weidman's family was hit hard in 2012 by the devastating Hurricane Sandy. Not only did he resolve to fix his own home, he volunteered as part of the non-profit Staten Strong to help rebuild the homes of other people whose lives were devastated by Hurricane Sandy.
