Gorecka made her World Cross Country Championship debut in the Polish city in 2010, finishing 23rd in the junior women's race before making the trip to Punta Umbria in Spain a year later.
The 19-year-old improved eight places to 15th and arrives back in Bydgoszcz having won yet again at the Inter Counties Championships earlier this month to maintain an unbeaten start to 2013.
She closed 2012 by winning individual silver and team gold in the junior category at the European Cross Country Championships, held in Budapest in December.
Gorecka is part of a 23-strong British team for the World Cross Country Championships and she is adamant she can handle what has been billed as one of the toughest events of the planet.
"I've been training hard for the world cross and even without ideal preparation for the Inter Counties it was very reassuring for my coach and I that all the hard work up to date helped pull me round to victory," said Gorecka.
"The World Cross Country Championships have been described as one of the toughest events on the planet and having already competed in two previous championships a part of me would agree.
"However, I won't put any limits on myself, being a part of the world cross is a fantastic experience and I intend to make the most of it by pushing myself to be the best that I can on the day and try to challenge the best in the world."
