Basketball - FBI grill Rodman about North Korea trip

The FBI met recently with former NBA player Dennis Rodman to seek information about his trip to North Korea earlier this year.

After Rodman received worldwide attention when he visited the country and its leader Kim Jong-un in February, he said the FBI sought him out to ask questions and learn more about the political climate in the Communist nation that has heightened international tensions with its nuclear program.

"As a person to person, he's my friend," Rodman said about Kim. "I don't condone what he does."

The Golden State Warriors have signed guard Scott Machado and forward-center Dwayne Jones from the NBA Developmental League.

Machado, 22, has appeared in 28 D-League regular-season games with Santa Cruz and Rio Grande Valley in 2012-13, averaging 8.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and 5.1 assists.

Jones, 29, averaged 8.8 points and 12.6 rebounds in 21 games with Texas in the D-League this season. The D-League veteran has played in 82 NBA games in five seasons with Boston, Cleveland, Charlotte and Phoenix. His last appearance in the NBA came in 2010 with the Suns.
