Provisional world number 45 Bond was the only current tour player in action and won all three of his matches 2-0.

He sealed his passage to the 16-man event in Portsmouth next month with a century break against Gary Wilkinson.

The 1995 World Championship runner-up will face 1985 Crucible champion Dennis Taylor in the opening round.

Les Dodd, Barry West and Tony Chappel also made it through to the main event on October 27-28.
