The long touted fight has finally been confirmed for Quebec's City's 15,176 capacity Colisée de Québec and will be for Stevenson's WBC light-heavyweight title.
Bellew turns 31 on the night of the fight and earned the mandatory position after defeating Isaac Chilemba at The O2 in May.
Stevenson won his title with a stunning first round knockout of Chad Dawson in June in Montreal and cemented his status as the division's top fighter with a seventh round stoppage of Tavoris Cloud last month.
Stevenson holds a 22-1-0 (19 KOs) record compared with Bellew's 20-1-1 (12 KOs) CV and is likely to enter the ring as a strong favourite.
It will be Bellew's second crack at a world title. He narrowly lost to Wales' Nathan Cleverly in his home city of Liverpool in November 2011.
