The Sheffield fighter, undefeated in 28 career bouts, will be cheered on in his home city as he takes on the Argentine in a final eliminator for the IBF welterweight title.
The winner of Saturday's fight will face the victor of the bout between champion Randall Bailey and Devon Alexander, with a possible showdown with Amir Khan looming down the line if Brook can continue his record.
Brook looked in superb shape when weighing in at 10st 6lbs on Friday afternoon and, having clung on for a narrow win against Carson Jones in his last fight, expects a much improved performance.
"I am oozing confidence because I know I have done everything right," Brook told Sky Sports News. "I am buzzing. I just need to fuel right and my nutritionist will be by my side feeding me the food I need and just wait and see, you are going to see something amazing.
"I am not just looking to win. I am looking to get this kid out there, I am looking to thrash him, really make a statement in this fight and show why I am special.
"I am in the best shape, honestly, I have ever been in and I just can't wait to get in."
