Head coach Michael Bradley believes attention to detail is key as Edinburgh prepare for the first match in a crucial Heineken Cup double-header with Cardiff Blues at the City Stadium this Friday.

Both sides are unbeaten in the pool, with Edinburgh taking the top spot by virtue of a four-try bonus point picked up in last month's 11-try encounter with Racing Metro which ended 48-47.

And speaking at Wednesday's press conference, Bradley said: "Cardiff away will be a significant challenge indeed and is a match that will demand our utmost attention to every aspect of our game."

Bradley has made just one personnel change for the game following last weekend's 50-10 win over Aironi.

Forward Sean Cox moves from blindside flanker to second row, with lock Grant Gilchrist ruled out with a shoulder injury.

The gap in the back row is filled by Stuart McInally, who starts at number eight, while David Denton returns to the blindside flanker position he has operated alongside McInally for most of this season.

The club's all-international front row of Allan Jacobsen, Ross Ford and Geoff Cross take to the pitch again, while the back line - which produced six of the seven tries scored last week - is unchanged.
