Brighton have been cleared by the Football Association over claims of abusive chanting.
A complaint regarding alleged abuse was made after the Seagulls' Carling Cup loss to Liverpool in September but the FA have decided there is no case to answer.
"The complainant and (anti-racism campaigners) Kick It Out have been informed that the allegations were erroneous," the FA confirmed on their official website
"Both the club and the FA have reviewed footage of the match and conclude the supporters of Brighton did not direct any abusive chanting to one player.
"The FA wish to thank the club for proactively co-operating on this matter.
"The FA, Kick It Out, and Brighton do not condone any form of discrimination or abuse."
