Bury have re-signed Sunderland goalkeeper Trevor Carson on loan.
Carson spent two months at Bury earlier in the season, making eight appearances, and recently had a spell with Hull.
The 23-year-old will stay at Gigg Lane for a 40-day stint and goes straight into the squad for Saturday's game with Leyton Orient.
Manager Richie Barker said: "I heard that he was available again so we've taken him.
"We can only take him for a certain amount of time because we've already had him once this season.
"It's difficult when you take anybody out and obviously more difficult when you leave a goalkeeper out. It's never a nice part of the job leaving anyone out, but Trevor is coming in and hopefully he will help us to get where we need to be."
