Celtic Go Seven Points Clear

Celtic, Arsenal Handed Tough CL Draws

Celtic are seven points clear at the top of the Scottish Premier League.

They won 2-0 at bottom side Dundee thanks to very good goals from Georgios Samaras and Gary Hooper.

Samaras sent Celtic on their way to a fifth consecutive SPL victory with an overhead kick after 16 minutes.

Dundee could have scored in the second half when Colin Nish missed a great chance to equalise but Hooper secured the points in the 71st minute when he lobbed Rab Douglas.

They extended their lead at the top of the table after second-placed Inverness drew 2-2 with St Mirren.

Ross County's win at Hibernian leaves Dundee nine points behind at the bottom of the table.
