GROUP E

CHELSEA v SHAKHTAR DONETSK

John Terry returns to captain Chelsea having been suspended domestically and David Luiz and Juan Mata could also start. A win would take Chelsea level with Shakhtar at the top of the table on seven points.

JUVENTUS v NORDSJAELLAND

Mirko Vucinic is absent from the Juve attack due to a calf injury so Alessandro Matri will start in attack as the Italians aim to move into second place ahead of Chelsea.

GROUP F

BAYERN MUNICH v LILLE

Bayern are locked on six points with Valencia and BATE and a home win against the group's bottom side is vital. Thankfully Franck Ribery is fit and firing, though Holger Badstuber misses out in defence.

VALENCIA v BATE BORISOV

Valencia are deprived of Sergio Canales and Pablo Piatti due to injury while BATE are hit by suspension, with midfielder Alexander Pavlov sidelined.

GROUP G

BENFICA v SPARTAK MOSCOW

The group's two bottom sides both have aspirations of catching Celtic, who have four points to Spartak's three and Benfica's one. Nemanja Matic is suspended for the hosts, Aiden McGeady injured for the visitors.

CELTIC v BARCELONA

Barca are protecting a 100 per cent record after three games and have Gerard Pique back in their ranks, though Sergio Busquets is suspended. Celtic have lost Emilio Izaguirre to a hamstring injury.

GROUP H

BRAGA v MANCHESTER UNITED

United will qualify with a victory in Portugal though they will have to do without Shinji Kagawa, Nemanja Vidic, Danny Welbeck and Phil Jones. Chris Smalling may return to the bench though.

CFR CLUJ v GALATASARAY

The battle for second place is a close one with Cluj on four points, ahead of Braga with three and Gala with one. The Turkish club are expected to be unchanged.
