Huddersfield manager Lee Clark has described Saturday's clash with promotion rivals Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough as "a potential Premier League game".

Clark saw his side's record 43-game unbeaten league run halted at Charlton at the end of last month and witnessed one of their worst displays during his tenure when losing for the first time at home since Boxing Day 2010 last week against Bournemouth in their next match.

But the 39-year-old Geordie could not contain his excitement about Saturday's Yorkshire derby, saying: "I'm looking forward to the game so much, it's a fantastic game. There could be anything between 25,000 and 30,000 there."

He added: "It's a potential Premier League game in terms of the crowd and where we're playing, the atmosphere. I'm buzzing.

"This is the right game for us after Bournemouth. I can't promise we'll win the match, but we won't have another performance like that.

"There's too many good players and it was just one of those days when too many of them had an off day. We understand that as a club. We'll be fine."
