Dakar - Cars: Terranova posts maiden stage win

Argentina's Orlando Terranova won his first Dakar Rally stage as Stephane Peterhansel extended his overall advantage on stage 10.

Home hero Terranova became the first Argentine to win a stage on the Dakar as he paced the 353 kilometre route between Cordoba and La Rioja.

The X-Raid driver saw off the challenge of Nani Roma, who finished second, with Peterhansel in third.

Peterhansel's lead at the top of the overall standings is now 52 minutes over his nearest rival South African Giniel De Villiers, with just four days to go before the finish in Santiago.
