Darren Bravo shines as Windies thump England by five wickets to draw Test series 1-1

London, May 04 (ANI): West Indies secured a five-wicket win over England in a thrilling final Test and consequently draw the three-match series 1-1 on Sunday in Barbados, thanks to Darren Bravo's silky 82-run knock. Resuming at the overnight position of 107 ahead at 39-5, England were bundled out for 123 as Jos Buttler remained unbeaten on 35, without receiving substantial support from the other end. West Indies carried on their gutsy fourth day show in the decider day as bowlers flexed their bowling muscles to leave the hosts with a target of 192. Jason Holder, Jerome Taylor and slow left-armer Veerasammy Permaul scalped three wickets each. Chasing the target, West Indies couldn't start on a promising note and were reeling at 80-4 before Darren Bravo and Jermaine Blackwood built a 108-run partnership for the fifth wicket, the BBC reported. Bravo played a composed 82, which included three sixes, before he was dismissed off a Ben Stokes' delivery. Blackwood, meanwhile, remained unbeaten on 47 as the hosts beat England for only the second time in 29 Tests. (ANI)
