Dhiego Lima vs. Tim Means Added to UFC 184 Line-Up

A welterweight bout between Dhiego Lima and Tim Means has been added to the UFC 184 fight card. UFC officials announced the bout on Friday.

Lima was a middleweight finalist on the nineteenth season of The Ultimate Fighter, losing to Eddie Gordon on the finale.

He has since fought one more time in the Octagon, although he dropped down to welterweight. Lima defeated Jorge Oliveira by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 56 in Brazil in November, and looks to build on that momentum UFC 184.

Means is on his second tour of duty through the UFC. He went 2-2 on his first go around, but is 2-1 during his current, and coming off of back-to-back wins over Hernani Perpétuo and Márcio Alexandre.

A victory over Lima would be a huge step up the welterweight ladder for Means.

Middleweight champion Chris Weidman puts his belt on the line against Vitor Belfort in the UFC 184 main event on Feb. 28 in Los Angeles.
