Sunday's finale has attracted some of the biggest names in showjumping and the likes of Olympic champion Steve Guerdat and fellow Swiss Beat Mandli are expected to compete.
Britain will also boast a strong contingent in Spain, with Guy Williams, Laura Renwick and Robert Whitaker among the contenders.
Whitaker claimed victory in one of the first four events and the Brit, along with Manuel Fernandez Saro, Abdelkebir Ouaddar and Matthew Simpson, can count his time in the sun a success.
Not so fortunate was Michel Robert. The Frenchman qualified with Zeta du Hus for the jump-off on March 16 but, with the pair performing well, a misunderstanding led to a heavy fall at a fence.
Robert was unharmed, but Zeta sustained serious injuries - a triple fracture to her hind leg - and had to be put down.
Despite the tragedy, Robert intends to be back in the saddle for the fifth event of the Tour this weekend and he will challenge for the honours at what promises to be an exciting finale.
