Paddon and co-driver John Kennard have flown in from New Zealand to compete on Belgium’s premier asphalt event from 27-29 June.
“It certainly will be difficult here so we have to set realistic goals,” said the former Production Car world champion. “We’re targeting a podium finish, which won’t be easy as this is a very specialised event and we’re up against a number very fast drivers.”
Paddon tested his Symtech Racing Ford Fiesta S2000 for the first time on Sunday and completed approximately 100 kilometres. “We had a good day testing and it was great to be back in a S2000 car and back on Tarmac after eight or nine months although it did take half the day to adapt back to the more aggressive driving style needed for the S2000 cars.”
