Fiorentina in Amauri blow

Amauri may have played his last game for Fiorentina after he was ruled out of the remainder of the season with a thigh injury suffered during the 2-1 win over Roma.

The Brazil-born Italy international, 31, picked up a muscle strain on Wednesday and is set to miss at least three weeks.

The victory was probably his last game for the club as his short-term deal expires in the summer.

The former Palermo and Juventus forward has been disappointing since joining La Viola this year, scoring just once in 13 Serie A matches.

There are four matches left as 14th-placed Fiorentina look to consolidate in mid-table after a poor season.
