Football - Abdoun suspended for Foxes clash

Nottingham Forest will make the short trip to midlands rivals Leicester without the suspended Djamel Abdoun.

PA Sport Report

Abdoun was sent off during the first half of the 1-0 home defeat to Blackpool last weekend and the midfielder will serve a one-match ban at the King Power Stadium.

On-loan Sunderland midfielder David Vaughan will hope to keep his place in the team after making his full debut against the Tangerines, but the likes of Nathaniel Chalobah and Andy Reid do provide alternatives for Reds boss Billy Davies.

Central defenders Danny Collins (ankle ligaments) and Kelvin Wilson (back) will both be absent for around three months with the problems that have kept them on the sidelines in recent weeks.
