Baker saw red in Tuesday's 3-2 Capital One Cup defeatat Leyton Orient and, having had an appeal rejected, will now serve his three-match ban. Adam Barton is leading the chase to replace him.

New signing Mathieu Manset is in line to make his debut having arrived on Wednesday after the Sky Blues, previously under a transfer embargo, were again allowed to trade under the watchful eye of the Football League. Otherwise, manager Steven Pressley has an unchanged squad.

Sunday's encounter marks the start of a three-year groundshare of Sixfields with League Two club Northampton, it comes while City's proposed new stadium is built having left the Ricoh Arena this summer following a lengthy rent row.
