Football - Chadwick back for faltering Pilgrims

Goal-shy Plymouth will be boosted by the return of striker Nick Chadwick for their vital npower League Two clash with AFC Wimbledon.

The Pilgrims have confirmed that the former Everton forward will return to the matchday squad after serving a six-game ban for a red card at Port Vale in early January.

Argyle have struggled to find the back of the net without Chadwick in recent weeks, scoring only twice in their last five games, and they are now two points adrift of safety following their 1-0 defeat at Northampton on Saturday.

Manager John Sheridan was only able to name six substitutes at Sixfields after Durrell Berry's knee injury saw him withdraw from the squad on Saturday and it is unclear whether the right-back will return in place of Maxime Blanchard.

The clash with the Dons will be followed by the visit of fellow strugglers Barnet to Home Park in a crucial week for Argyle's survival prospects.
