League Two - Burnett: Dagenham deserved more

Dagenham & Redbridge boss Wayne Burnett was left slightly flat after his side let slip the chance to record a second victory of the season against Exeter.

An error from Grecians' goalkeeper Artur Krysiak allowed Josh Scott in to open the scoring for the Daggers after 20 minutes.

However, the visitors dominated play in the second half and were rewarded with 10 minutes to go when Sam Parkin headed an equaliser.

Burnett said: "We've let the game slip away really. It's a shame because we were well on top in the first half and on another day we might have scored more than just the one goal.

"Exeter were struggling to live with us at times but we didn't manage to get that second goal and late in the match we've been punished for that.

"We ran out of a bit of gas in the second half. They made a couple of changes at the break and the two lads that came on did well, and that left us a little flat.

"That's disappointing because we'd had a terrific win during the week and it would have been nice to follow that up with three points here.

"We let in a soft goal at the end though. Their lad has got away and punished us and that's two points we've lost.

"Wins breed confidence and that's what we need in the league if we're to make significant progress.

"We could easily have won a couple of the games where we've drawn so we have to try and put that right."
