Doncaster manager Paul Dickov is hoping to complete the double signing of Dean Furman and Jean-Yves M'voto this week, but claims a deal to bring Scunthorpe winger Mark Duffy to the Keepmoat Stadium has not been completed.

Midfielder Furman made eight appearances for Doncaster while on loan at the end of last season, while Oldham team-mate M'voto is also keen to follow former Latics boss Dickov to the Keepmoat.

Scunthorpe confirmed they had accepted an improved offer from Doncaster for Duffy on Monday, but Dickov said the deal has not yet been concluded.

"There is interest in Mark, he is a player that we rate highly," said Dickov after Rovers' 4-0 friendly win over Frickley.

"There have been conversations, as everyone is aware, but no deal has been agreed, reports stating otherwise are very premature."

Midfielder Harry Forrester completed his move from Brentford on Monday, with the two clubs yet to agree on a compensation fee.

Dickov added: "We have, however, agreed deals in principle with three players, Harry Forrester, Dean Furman and Jean-Yves M'voto.

"Harry has been in training with us. He's a player who is at a good age and we think he can do well here. We're trying to agree some sort of deal with Brentford at the minute.

"Harry wants to sign with us and if he does we would need to pay some sort of compensation, I think the most sensible thing would be for both clubs to come to an agreement over the fee.

"Dean and Jean have also agreed a deal in principle and the paperwork should be signed and completed by the end of this week or early next week."
