Football - Jepson looking for Shakers response

Bury caretaker boss Ronnie Jepson is demanding a response from his players following a disappointing 1-1 draw with AFC Wimbledon.

The Shakers went ahead through Danny Hylton but Luke Moore's equaliser consigned them to their seventh straight home game without a win.

"I'm a bit disappointed really because we started off badly against a Wimbledon team that are right up there on form," said Jepson.

"We got into it, got the goal but then an individual mistake cost us again and I can't legislate for that.

"Credit to the boys, they kept going, stuck at it and tried to win the game but it wasn't to be. It's a point but we were looking for three.

"It was a simple flick-through and the shape was right but then Nathan Cameron slips over and the lad goes through to score.

"You'd like to think Nathan will hold his hands up to that but then I don't want people to keep holding their hands up. I want them to do something about it.

"I want to see a reaction from them against Hartlepool on Tuesday. I want to stay positive and go out on Tuesday and get a result."
