And Burnett was happy with the way his players responded to a three-match losing run.
"There were a lot of positives and I thought we looked quite dangerous even when it was 11 against 11," he said.
"He (Hines) has been brilliant all season and he's stepped up and taken the penalty but unfortunately he's put it wide. But I can't fault any of the lads, they worked incredibly hard and I thought it was a good performance considering we've had three not so good results.
"I thought we looked positive and were on the front foot. They are a good team, it's no coincidence that they are at the top of the league but I felt we should have won.
"We had enough chances and when they scored I thought 'oh no' but it was a fantastic finish from Abs (Ogogo) to get us back in the game and at times I thought there only looked like being one winner."
