Former England international Jonathan Woodgate is unlikely to make the game because of a calf injury and fellow central defenders Seb Hines and Andre Bikey are also doubts.

Hines has a knee problem, while Bikey is feeling the after-effects of Tuesday night's 1-0 win over Leeds, although the latter is less of a concern.

Mowbray also has problems in attack with midweek matchwinner Curtis Main suspended after being sent off after scoring, while Scott McDonald is yet to shake off a troublesome back injury.

However, Ishmael Miller's match fitness is improving all the time following his return from an ankle problem, while midfielder Kieron Dyer is available after being rested in midweek.
