Kenny Shiels insists he has no plans to bring St Johnstone goalkeeper Alan Mannus to Rugby Park

The team was jeered at Rugby Park last week as they slumped to a 1-0 defeat to Hearts.

The reverse followed the disappointment of just missing out on a place in the top six of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.

Shiels wants to get back on track against Aberdeen tomorrow and says his players have already put the reaction of angry supporters to the back of their minds.

He said: "They haven't been affected at all. It's just one of those things that happens at grounds all over the world.

"We just want to win matches and that's the priority."

Asked if the boos will spur them on, he added: " Not at all. They won't even remember about that to be honest.

"It's not in our remit to worry about those kinds of things.

"We are disappointed after last week and we are trying to build a renewed energy to go and try to get something from Aberdeen."
