Leyton Orient will be without strikers Kevin Lisbie and Charlie MacDonald for the first leg of their Johnstone's Paint Trophy southern area final against Southend.

Top scorer Lisbie is still out with a hamstring injury and recent signing MacDonald is cup-tied having already played in the competition for MK Dons.

Millwall loanee Shaun Batt, who made his debut in Saturday's 1-0 win at Stevenage, is eligible to play and will partner David Mooney in attack.

Martin Rowlands and Lee Cook were rested at the weekend, although the latter came on as a substitute, and both should start against the Shrimpers.

Defender Nathan Clarke could also be involved after making his long-awaited return from an ankle injury as a late sub.
