An injured foot has forced Yancy Medeiros out of his UFC 184 bout against Tony Ferguson. Veteran lightweight Gleison Tibau was named as Medeiros’ replacement by UFC officials on Tuesday. He will face Ferguson on the Feb. 28 fight card in Los Angeles.

Tibau (33-10) is on a three-fight winning streak. With sixteen wins inside the Octagaon, Tibau is tied with former champions Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture, and hopes to move into a tie with Anderson Silva with a win at the Staples Center.

Ferguson (17-3) is riding a four-fight winning streak. The Ultimate Fighter 13 winner last competed at UFC 181, defeating Abel Trujillo by rear-naked choke. The match-up against Tibau will kick off the pay-per-view main card.
