GV: Red Bull to demo RB6 at FR3.5 events

Red Bull Racing has linked up with Formula Renault 3.5 this season to use one its Formula 1 cars to demo runs during the series' events. The world champion squad will take one of its Renault-powered RB6 cars to all the seven rounds of the championships, giving the public the chance to see grand prix machinery in action ahead of the races. Scuderia Toro Rosso's Jean-Eric Vergne will be the first man in charge of driving duties in the first round of the season at Motorland Aragon in May. "I feel right at home in World Series by Renault," said Vergne. "I spent three years competing at these meetings: two seasons in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 and one in Formula Renault 3.5 Series. I know a lot of people, including a number of drivers who I've faced at several levels during my career. "I'll be taking a seat in the RB6 in front of the World Series by Renault fans and will be doing everything I can to put on a good show for them." Team-mate Daniel Ricciardo and Red Bull reserve Sebastien Buemi will be taking part in these events too later in the year.
